How is this attack a "domestic dispute?"
A domestic disputes infers that that attacker knows and has a close (co habitational) relationship w/the person assaulted. That a weapon (the flag
pole and a shoe) were used to attack the victims would raise this to aggravated assault or assault and battery. Toss in the American flag as her
"trigger" and I don't see with this doesn't get the much vaunted "hate crime" designation.
Now to the mention of the burqa. Well what if the attacker was white, sporting a KKK tee shirt and attacked an AfAm family for flying the flag? Would
the sentiments of his choice of clothing be central to his description? I whole heartedly believe they would.
