So I am never in that untenable position of not knowing what to 'believe'!

No one ever deliberately harms others, unless infected with some strain of 'belief', or other!

If you dont think that the cia works to sway the news press and public to think a certain way then you should watch this documentary about how an Irish film crew managed to catch them in the act. Innocent people were assasinated by paid snipers so we westerners would praise chavez removal of power when all he was guilty of was taking money from the oil companies and giving it to the poor. I remember the news showing how the dictator chavez allows his own red shirt wearing supporters to murder the peaceful and anti-chavez gold wearing shirt demonstrators and showing the murders on tv ( after warning us to remove children from the room ). I too was brainwashed to thinking he should be removed thanks to the false opinions spoon fed to me by the tv.( still think his economic policies were wrong though )

Another great documentary chronicaling the cia's activities is by John Pilger and it shows how american money interests are calling the shots on the cia and military with lots and lots of colateral damage.

This brilliant documentary should make anyone realize why Americans are not liked around the world. It is a sad fact that most Americans are fantastic people and more patriotic than any country in the world but their government has been taken over by banksters and big buisiness.

That's been my approach for as long as I can remember! I don't even watch because I know I'm being lied to.

I'm sure the CIA has much more important things to do like dispatching blackhawks over my location and drugging my water supply.

Sometimes I truly wonder how real the 'real' world is. No matter how 'free' we feel the internet has made us. It is almost like Pandora's box; don't be so open-minded that your brain falls out!
I've got some way-past-fringe thoughts that I'm happy to play with, but a lot of what is sold as factual, msm or otherwise, is just bull#
And it's a virus unto the entire world, not just America. The US is just a giant spring-board of 'civilized/modern' thought (in other words a testing ground for how to control themasses).
There aren't enough ATSers in the world... even my faith in the strength of this community is dwindling.

At this point, its like saying water gets you wet.

MSM is in a position to get some HEFTY backlash for being an arm of government in everything wrong with our world.

In the west exists the delusion of freedom and liberty, while in reality we also live in totalitarian states.
Some are nanny-states, other's are seen as Republics. The fact is that true liberty never existed.
In the Soviet Union, citizens got selectively spoon-fed their own version of history of the evil bourgeoisie and the class struggle. The Soviet people where taught the Western way of life was bad. We are taught exactly the opposite.

We are taught that the mass-crimes of regimes is what makes them bad, the gulags, the extermination camps, but meanwhile, our own government invades sovereign countries, killing millions of people, destabilizing whole regions and destroying life for the common people, but we are not taught that is evil. Because they are on our side.

We ourselves and our children at school are also taught a subjective view of world history, that is in-line with what the government wants you to believe. The citizens, of course, like in the Soviet Union, are taught what to believe and to believe those are the facts.

The most successful strategy of the US government was to indoctrinate in its citizens the illusions of choice, freedom and democracy, and thus keeping them from revolting and revolutionizing the system. Unlike in the Soviet Union, where this, the government did not do, and as a result, the people revolted and internal and external pressure made it collapse.

Every collective institution relies on subjective propaganda enforced on its citizens through the public school system and mainstream media, it could not exist without.

She's probably lying right now for the FBI.

Who knows what her game is. Maybe she's telling the truth.

a bigger surprise would be if there was zero governmental interference/collusion/threats/bribery/etc within the world of journalism in particular, and the media in general.

That's all you needed to say really..apart from any real distribution of wealth in those collectives, no matter what the brand name is.

Although what Mr. Ulfkotte wrote came true (mass migration of arab people in 2008), I would not call him "Top Journalist". He writes for "Kopp-Verlag". They write articles you can read on their website and also buy extended versions but never did this. The are a bit sensationalist... and a little bit on the right wing.

If you took the time to read the article there are others with videos basically all saying the same thing etc etc

That is simply not true.

The mere facts that the proposed issue would a) be common knowledge and thus neither be news or ATS worthy, and b) not BE an issue if "basically all" said what the journalist in question said, fly in the face of your claim.

It is common knowledge to those who have a modicum of smarts. Very common knowledge even. You really can't see the obvious?

The policy of regime change through color revoultion started under Reagan. The Eastern European revolt agaisnt the soviets was that first one.

I do watch MSM, no more than an hour or so a day, just so I can discover what they want me to think.
