If Sanders is to be believed, his campaign is funded 100% by his supporters - for which the campaign held an event. So like most of the socialist rhetoric it's not about being free, but more about hiding the cost.

I like Bernie. He needs to win so I can vote for him instead of the Trump card.

No it's not but I'm not gonna argue with you because in continuing to do so you will just bring down to levels of idiocracy.

Who do you support, Trump?

I'm sure he is but he start out that way. I remember Simmons supporting OWS but now he's hosting Clinton.

Keep knocking Sanders and his supporters, if you fear Shillary, they are your only chance.

How do make sure Shillary becomes president while simultaneously destroying the republican party?

Put an obnoxious celebrity up who can rally the more extreme aspects of said party and watch as the media convinces people that he is "anti-establishment" and wants to "make america great again" lol! I can not believe this lunacy works!

Shillary and Trump work for the CFR and the same elite scum that has destroyed the country, celebrate your options!

THANK YOU!! I have been reading many of these political threads from the start, and yours, dear elementalgrove, is the first one I've seen with a modicum of sense regarding this whole charade!

It is so GLARINGLY obvious, it's ridiculous...and I am literally GOBSMACKED that people (especially people on ATS) are not seeing it. ALL media is covering Trump, and it matters not one whit whether it's negative or positive, his name is on everyone's tongue, and they are falling right into the trap. Hillary is simply doing what she always does, pandering to everyone, whilst resting on the laurels of her financial backers.

Who you want to consider is the person who is NOT being covered and/or purposefully faded into the background; who they WANT you to overlook.

Now being Canadian, I cannot vote in your election, but the way I see it is that you ARE being directed, and rather easily I might add. Essentially you can go one of two ways:

-Decide that it's all corrupt and already decided and not vote - the apathetic choice they want you to have...

-Consider that maybe there ARE enough people working on the inside trying to make your vote count, and not fall for the grand stage-play, and vote with your conscience.

I know which option I'd choose, and it certainly wouldn't be the monkey in the middle.

Yeah, that's a fair generalization. If you support Sanders you collect welfare.

Yeah, I can't believe a mild joke got "removed". Not racist, not sexist, narly offensive at all.

Some seriously thin skin shown by the staff.

I have no history of "baiting" either.

Considering the amount of poo flung at Trump, this was mild mild mild.

The whole thing demonstrates the "dish it out but can't take it" types.

LAME.

I can't believe Russell Simmons supports Clinton over Sanders. So disappointing.

Don't forget that Russell Simmons is uber rich. Not sure how accurate this website is, but it claims his net worth is $340 million (here). So if you look at it from that perspective, it makes sense.

God yes. He's a bit of a weasel. I've met him, so yeah....I can say dat.
