Trump a smoke screen for the GOP

With all the talk of Dictatorships and visions of the next Hitler incarnate.... coupled with the erratic and controversial nature of Trump himself...

Is it possible the GOP put him up to this in order to save off their other contenders from labels such as Bigot and Hatemonger as long as possible befor the general election? To get democrats and their media outlets to invest time and money villefing the wrong guy only to have to change directions much later then they would like.

It would be hard to go from calling Trump the next Hitler to calling Rubio or Bush the next Hitler... it would make the remarks looked much more canned then they already do.

Trump has enough money and influence that he doesn't need to allow himself to be used in such a manner. Also, he hasn't said anything bigoted...just things that the MSM have used out of context to paint him in that light.

Continuing with that train of thought , it would also be easy to call Bernie Sanders the Next Stalin . No one has thought of that yet I see...........
