They bought at least two MH-53E airframes from Japan, along with parts and pieces, and were looking to buy more.

I didn't know about that, but I'm thinking about RAF aircraft?

B-52, -135, C-130, T-38, U-2.

It's 50 years from first flight for the C-5 this year, in 2020 for time in service.

Keep forgetting the U2 is still in service and the C5 just seems 'too modern' to be nearly fifty years old even when you know it is.

Aw, sorry, just revitalizing this thread.

Plane was also known as the Kangaroo.

Here's one for you, probably easy too. What race was the pilot that flew the WW11 plane named "Black Magic"

That one I don't know. I know the Tuskegee group was called Black Angels sometimes, but I don't recognize it as a plane name.

I am very sorry Robert, The Plane was a Kitty Hawk named "Black Magic" flown by this man,

Again I apologize as I am a fan of the Tuskegee group and confused the naming.

kind regards,

Bally

There's something very odd that can be seen on the top of every B-2. What is it, and why is it there?

Is it the orange part where the boom goes in to? So it doesn't scratch the paint?
