Does your avatar bother people?

Somebody got their panties in a twist & reported one of mine once. It got mod-yanked.

It was Giorgio Tsoukalos, but instead of "Aliens" in his hands, it said "Boobies."

I wanted to slap the tattler for not having a sense of humor.

Quick edit: Oh,and someone once complained to me about one of my Steampunk girls, or more accurately, about her steampunk gun. Give me a break.

Actually, after I put it on as my avatar, I did see a few things it could be. I won't say what because I don't want to influence anyone.

You're completely right. I find it's all or nothing with me. Perhaps I can tame the beast. I'll give until the summer barbecue months and hopefully have more control over things. Cheers man.

That's nice, better than bothering people. There's a couple that are around that make me not want toe respond to the member so I don't have to see their avatar again. Not many though

I picked Early Cuyler for an avatar because he is the typical racist redneck southern stereotype you see people on ATS talk about pretty regularly.

As soon as I found a pic with him wearing a Confederate flag hat I knew he was going to be my avatar. Might as well feed the stereotype so people assume I'm just as stupid and ignorant.

It did me as well until around Christmas.
He softened it, a bit, with a Santa hat...

I have used mine for years with no complaints. Though I do have a question.

Nobody has ever recognized it. I would have thought a picture of a supernatural sigil would have gotten a question or two.

I have a library of seven or eight avitars, but only frequent two or three usually. And even then run the same one for a month or so, and occasionally longer.

Oh and folks, I'm sure it's already been said, but you can stop motion of the entire page of avitars and moving what-nots by pushing Esc on your keyboard.
