Threat sounds like it is under control,

Officials said after the lockdown that the incident was caused by a single suspect with a gun, who has been arrested.

They messed up and ran the story about the last incident...

new info says no one arrested .

Completely different stories, I guess they rushed to get ANY info out rather than fact check.

Its Arkansas... I should be used to things here after 20+ years LOL!

I told my husband that no way was it another middle aged white guy in a white pick up truck with a propane tank.

Glad they finally got it straight!!!

Ha! Yes, agreed. When I was in high school everyone carried a rifle in the back window of their pickups, even the older folk

Thanks for posting

Is an 'active shooter' at a US school even news these days?
I'd actually be surprised if a month went by and nobody was shot to death at a US school.
Desensitised is the word tragically.

They say it was an "active shooter"

How can you call someone that when no shots are fired?

Is that a scare tactic or just someone jumping the gun on the situation.

JONESBORO, Ark. -- Jonesboro police say a lockdown for Arkansas State University has been lifted after no reported gunmen were found.

Investigators determined that actors in a student video project were mistaken for armed intruders.

ASU Campus Lockdown Lifted

You'd think their professor would have warned them to notify campus police if their "project" involved guns....lol.

So.....is it safe to say that a couple dumb @ss journalism students were filming a (fill in the blank here) video, and onlookers called 911??

Where was their permits?

Where is their notification "letter" that they would be filming a scene with guns?

Yep! Dumb @ss.
