I love you. You gave me elderscrolls. I was a late comer. Oblivious to the wonders before Oblivion. But a lover forever more since Skyrim and Oblivion. You've given me joy. 1000+ hours of enjoyment away from the world of politics, capitalism, socialism, and a failed world. When Gamespy and EA killed Battlefield 2, Bethesda became my saving grace. I loved your arrows to the knee, and the despair of the thieves guild.

EA, I hate you.

Bethesda, I love you.

Dice, screw you for abandoning your origins.

Visceral, congrats on Hardline, but screw you for selling out on Dead Space.

Dear EA...

I despise you. May EA rot in a pit of humanities waste facilities to be forgotten and forever in a state of despair.

I am loving ESO! So many quests and the story lines and lore suck you right into the story. Not to mention Fishing! Sucks you have to scrounge your own bait up though!
I am at V3 and have only done 1 dungeon. Their dungeon finder sucks, which leaves you barking in chat for a group. In all fairness though, if people would just cue up, it might not take 2 hours for a dps to find a group.

I've not tried ESO. I have a hard time swallowing a monthly fee to play a game. Not to say it isn't worth it. Or to knock Bethesda over it, but I prefer one time fees. I absolutely love STO though. Perhaps when ESO goes free 2 play, I'll partake in the wonders of its world.

ESO is free to play now. Both on the PC and Xbox One. You just have to buy the game. It has very good quests compared to other MMOs I've tried.

Bethesda makes me weep with joy... and curse their sirens of alien realms that have sucked my essence from this world and spewed it onto an Elder Scroll or post apocalyptic 'murica... I likely could've cured mortality and poverty had I spent my time in the real world.. .and had I more drive... and more brains... well, more drive, anyway.

They get my money gladly... every time... I am a happy minion.

And yeah, EA can suck it.... just 'cause virtual sports suck worse than real ones.

Holy $#*#!!!! Here it is! The first OP where I've agreed to every part of it! S&F😁

I remember as a youngster, sitting for hours watching my older cousin play Fallout 1 and 2, on PC. But I too, had my first real playing experience with them through Oblivion, after that Fallout 3. Since then I've put in probably at least 3,000 hours (3k hours is 125 days...). I don't know if I should be proud of ashamed of that... But man, the world's they create are just absolutely amazing, enthralling, immersing. There's just so much to do, and it's so rewarding!
I've now logged more time in Fallout 4 than I'd care to know. I've been considering picking up ESO for a while now, but I'm scared of what wil happen if I do. I think about how much I play by myself, I can't imagine how much playing online would suck me in.
I just can't get enough of Bethesda games.

Don't hate on Dead Space 3 (I assume that's the one you're cranky about).
It worked out pretty great; multiple playthroughs and I haven't spent a dime on microtransactions because they made it super easy to farm. I just wish it were on Steam.

But yes, Elder Scrolls is Love, Elder Scrolls is Life.
Can't get into Fallout though, for some reason. The setting just never appealed. I WOULD like to see Bethesda create a new sandbox franchise at some point. Maybe something set in a contemporary era.

I felt the same way! But I gave Fallout 4 chance and loved it, looking forward to the upcoming expansions.

(Also, I find it amusing that I love Fallout 4 and can't get into the older Fallout games... whereas older players apparently hate the new Fallout according to most things I've read... might be something to that.)

But I do love a good Bethesda game!

My dream game would be the amazingly open-world with millions of quests and factions of Bethesda mixed with the brilliant story-writing and friendships of Bioware. It would be perfect.

And I second the ESO!
I played while it was subscription only, and I still play now that it's buy-to-play. They're bringing out the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood this year, more to look forward to!

Oblivion to me, remains the best game I have ever played. Nothing has come close to that feeling of immersion, the feeling of wheeling and dealing in the business district or the sunrise over Anvil... I will forever miss Oblivion. Fallout 3 was really good, New Vegas was Great, Skyrim was ok and Fallout 4 is ok...

ESO sucks right? I mean dammit, when the range of your arrow is limited to your archery level and and you POINT AND CLICK to attack?? I just played the Beta, so know idea if it's different by now, but I'm guessing it's still point-and-click mmorpg nonsense.

I was unable to get into Fallout as well. I've tried over and over, and forced myself to play it. I enjoyed setting off the nuke in Fallout 3. I had a save game file that I load and set it off over and over... yeah I know.

Oblivion was my first elderscrolls game. A friend of mine showed me a trailer of them shooting a bow at that bucket, I was thinking... PHYSICS!

I went out and bought an Xbox 360 and a copy of Oblivion on its release date.
