It seems Bloomberg will only run if Trump and Bernie do well in the early primaries.

If its Trump and Bernie Bloomberg will get in

www.politico.com...

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg – a onetime moderate Republican who has crusaded on gun control -- is considering throwing $1 billion of his vast fortune into an independent bid for president, according to several sources familiar with his plans.

He has set March as a deadline, according to one, and his decision will likely be contingent on the results of early primaries, and he's more likely to take the leap if the "extremes" -- meaning Trump, Ted Cruz or Democrat Bernie Sanders -- prevail.

Bloomberg is bad--too attached to the rich but he's not a crazy. He's a moderate crazy

You are soo right is not funny, I can only imagine the bug becoming a president, with the NY mafia and wall street behind him and the NY police moving to Washington to serve as his "personal security army".

The man is a dangerous.

I hope so. If Nanny Bloomturd were to run as an independent, he might well guarantee a GOP win. The guy has never met a thing that he didn't want to restrict or ban, with his anti-2A crusade being particularly damaging in a general election. Conservatives and libertarians sure as hell aren't going to vote for a guy like that.

You seem to love the notion of liberal authoritarian rule.

Nope, he wanted to cut the level of salt in all restaurant food by 25%. If it failed, it was because of a revolt by restaurant chefs threatening to quit New York which has a thriving restaurant scene.

Ok, so that is still not banning salt.

You did say 'oh goodie, the man who banned sodas and salt'. The statement is untrue.

The plan, for which the city claims support from health agencies in other cities and states, sets a goal of reducing the amount of salt in packaged and restaurant food by 25 percent over the next five years.

25% over 5 years

I don't see why this is a BAD thing. I don't think the salt legislation passed, but it is one of the more sane proposed ideas I have seen come from a city government.

Restaurants began posting nutrition information and I think the saturated fat reduction legislation did pass.

It is this kind of nanny state crap that people recoil from. All with D next to their name. It's becoming pretty obvious that you gloss over all of this stuff in order to defend liberal nanny state BS.

the former dictator of new york as president might be the spark for open rebellion .
we saw how he let his nypd run rampant
he would seize guns the constitution the damned he would not care
he would limit the size of food and beverages us commoners drink and eat while gorging on gourmet cuisine
i would not want to live in a country governed by him and is the main reason i stopped visiting the big apple

Anybody remember how Bloomberg was M.I.A. during the big snow storm? Was off at his weekend retreat in Bermuda! Link And look the link is from a liberal source, no Fox news to get folks ranting
That is the kind of thing that a leader should not do!

I just heard about this. Holy hell! Considering how many things this man has his fingers in, and how much money he could throw at his own campaign I am a bit fearful.
