Mixing molasses and sodium bicarbonate doesn't make some new compound.
When you digest it, the sugars go one way, the bicarbonate and sodium another, and the cancer never sees some tasty thing that looks like molasses
with a trojan horse bicarbonate attached.
On top of which, bicarbonate is much less alkaline in your blood plasma, because there it's part of a buffer system. So if you wanted a pH of 9, you
won't be getting that with circulating bicarbonate. Oh, and your kidneys both make and dispose of bicarbonate for this very purpose, so a lot extra
doesn't last long.
