Sorry to hear that, I`d also be pissed if they had proclaimed her brain dead when she was giving signs that this is not the case. May she rest in peace or should we say...may she enjoy in the next life

I thank you 0p3nM1nd3d. For your kind words and further input.
It took me 10 years to deal with her passing, I was so sure she'd wake and I don't know, be normal or as close to normal as she was.
She spoke her mind and would have ripped the Diagnosis apart.
Yes. I have never been more angry before or since.
Once my anger was over, I still could not believe her truly gone.

I'd have said something but.... Most Neurologists, Doctors of any kind usually tend to berate anyone who asks or suggests otherwise as they did my Aunt who has never been the same since losing her youngest daughter and then her own husband, the only daughter that looked so much like him, the others, you can see mostly his late parent's looks.
Then my Grandmere, my Aunts Mom passed and seemed the final straw for her.

She ONLY talks with her other 3 daughters now and seems afraid to even talk to most of her Grandchildren yet adores her Great Grandchildren.
But too, she has turned into the relative all want to avoid.... What is thus far left of us.....not judging her feelings, she has become a person filled with suspicion, hatred, and will make trouble for those whom attempt to still love her....

I had to go to her grave after 10 years, putting her favorite colour flowers, yellow sweet heart roses + a pink and red one, then going to all our relatives and putting a single red sweetheart rose on each..... I was totally freed that day though looked everywhere in Medical Archives and texts to see if there'd been other cases as hers.
There were many though all still were stated as DOA, Immediate Brain Death and other survivors of those people were pissed off at the terminology.

I agree it bares more looking into, and am pleased at such a post...... Blessings to you and all you love....

I too, believe in reincarnation but all I say is I have my reasons too lol

How horrible for you to lose your cousin like that and how very sad for the Aunt who will never be the same again.

The very best discussion I have seen about life after death from DR Stuart Hameroff ,

Director, Center for Consciousness Studies

Professor Emeritus, Department of Anesthesiology

Professor Emeritus, Department of Psychology

Thanks for posting the video, it was insightful.
The DR spoke of an experiment with patients who were administered L-S-D and they were monitored through an MRI scanner which revealed the brain didn't light up with activity while they were experiencing hullucinations but instead remained "cold" I believe the DR described it. Everything was happening on a deeper level.

For anybody interested, he spoke of it around the last 15 minutes of the interview. Very thought provoking stuff.

Sorry if off topic, but other than size, my youngest daughter who is only 4 ft 10 in, and 80lbs, I believe IS my 1st cousin/best friend.
So does my Aunt much to my dismay.
She lives closer to her and tries to interfere with my youngest daughter's relationship and her children.
After my Aunt showed my youngest daughter all my cousin's photo, scrapbooks of how she acted, writings of her personality, my youngest daughter believes she is my cousin reincarnated also

My youngest daughter, was a boy. Then stopped moving for 2 months, no activity on stress machines, scans, nothing.
My cousin/best friend was so..... She'd had plans..... She worried so much for me, then the morning she died, I mean, organs donated and taken off all life supports, my youngest daughter began to move like crazy.

Even the Doctors and specialists were amazed. making them have me in hospital every 2 days from April to August.
The kept testing.
Said she was no longer a boy, but a girl.
The couldn't understand it any more than any of us could.

So I have my reasons, + once my Daughter reached age 10, I saw things that were justy too incredible but remained silent in hopes no one would jump to the same conclusions as myself.
That was when I truly accepted my cousin/best friend gone and went to her grave with the same yellow sweetheart roses that were her favorite as is my youngest daughters.

The colour she chose for bracelets, etc, every September 29th for Microcephaly Day, for her daughter now 8 and normal or has surpassed other 8 year olds in most areas, , is yellow.

I just don't know.... Machines lie too.... It is more than a glitch when all show the same results......
My cousin was a big girl, though the Xena type, very hot to the guys, but she wanted to be tiny as is my youngest daughter........

while i dont agree it is an interesting thought.

i personally think this activity that happens upon death is just the consciousness moving on and the body reacting to interpret the data.i dont think there is any real reason for reincarnation to work the way you propose. reality is just information anyway. you die and you reincarnate. time never slows down or speeds up.

If you want to learn more about reincarnation / life after death, please read about Buddhism. They have it down to a science and reincarnation is not mystical or new to them, its just a part of life (and death). They refer to our bodies as corpses (live corpses and dead corpses).

Being alive and dead are viewed differently. Very cool

Well I was having out of the box thinking after all the facts have stockpilled. I know there are other explanations and beliefs out there but this came closest to being plausible based on facts. Besides...I like to think about all possiblities, even if it is stranger than fiction

No they don`t have it down to science because we would know about it, if they did. It is a matter of belief but yes I have looked into that perspective also...though I have to say that I like Tao better. It is the closest to what I personally believe in. But this is my own truth and if I wanted to get it verified for others, I would need evidence which I don`t so I rather keep it to myself...for now
