It (usually) all starts with that very first pair of 190.00 pair of (fill in your favorite shoe manufacturer here) for little Johnny...in the 1st grade. This is the beginning of separation from the kids that wear hand-me-downs and brown bag it each day in school.

Why? Should have said this before.
We should listen more and talk less.
We should hold the hand that reaches out to us.
We should support the being that is falling.
We should heal wounds.
We should speak up in the face of injustice and not hide behind relativism and our miserable comfort zones.

That is so sweet of you my dear.
But you see when we make to much noise we can't hear the ants walking or the grass growing, we can't hear the silent cry for help behind a smile, we can't hear the moon rise or the sun set. So I try to be silent. I do wish I hadn't missed a letter in that name.

You make me smile. If only you knew all the demons I must fight in my self. The pride, envy, jealousy, anger, self pity all sorts of disgusting habits. But I recognize it, perhaps that makes a difference.
