Ego.

Plain and simple. You can like blue and I can like red and all is good as long as we respect and protect each other's choices and free will. It's when one of us decides that only we have the right/best answer -- ego -- and judge others accordingly, and/or force our will on others that there is a problem.

Ego.

Yes, Ego is the cause of self-inflicted pain, and from our self-inflicted pain we cause other around us to suffer. At the root of our EGO is the FEAR of Lack and Loss... we fear Blue (the thing we cherish) may be at risk, we fall into a FEAR and ATTACK mode, we think those who like Red might start to like Blue, that they might attack us, so out of our FEAR we Attack them first. Why because we feel threatened. We need to be in control, we need to survive.

We live in a world of FEAR and ATTACK.

Maslow "while studying people who operate at the level of self-actualization, Maslow noticed that many of them frequently have, and deliberately seek, some other kind of experience. Something extraordinary. Maslow termed these peak experiences. They are profound, life-altering moments of love, understanding, happiness, bliss. They are moments in which one feels radically more whole, more completely alive, more aware of truth, beauty, goodness, and so on."

Yes, some people do reach the Mystical, but how do they do this?

First, they face their FEAR and overcome it. In order to overcome
the source of pain, one must stop avoiding it. One must turn and
face that which is their personal terror.

Second, we overcome self-inflicted pain by changing our mind,
by replacing negative self-talk with acceptance of Truth. This bring
us to a open space where peace and joy transcend all.

Thirdly, when we continue to value this place of bliss over the things
the ego formerly valued, they drop their Ego and unlearn its bad habits.

This is a process of unlearning, and letting go.

The Ego fears the death of the body, for it knows
that when the body dies, it will too. Therefore,
to be free of the Ego, we must overcome our
fear of death. Those who do not remain in
the world of Fear and Attack.

Yes in general we are screwed up. I agree. But stick around and we may be the only people with a solution.

Greed and power. Religion as well as politics are used to keep these two going.

Some sections of social media have hand in helping that as is being seen. Though, it's not enough, yet anyway.

There is the part your rational mind can not accept
but which is equally true. This world of Lack and Loss
this world of FEAR and ATTACK is not real. It is illusion.

In this world we are taught to value the valueless, to
believe in the illusion, and to trust the system will reward
us in due time. Our only reward is more pain and suffering.

Is there a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? Again,
and again we see evidence to the contrary. The system
has no reward for us, we've been lied to. But even when
faced with the facts and our own experience, it is still
hard to let go of the memes we host, memes of loyalty
and patriotism, submission to authority, so on.

But we are True Believers. We keep holding up the ideals
that our country dropped years ago. We continue to work
within the system, hoping our 'efforts to reform' will have
some 'measured effect'. We are loyal to the slave master,
giving him our best ideas about reform, and eager to get
a pat on the head (which never comes).

We hold the lies of our False Authority in mind with single
affection and keep the passion of those lies burning bright
in our hearts with true devotion. In this synthetic state of
mind we are unwilling and far too terrorized by the threat
of LOSS, to relinquish our habit of FEAR and ATTACK.

And so the dance goes on.....

This is the Meaningless World where the mass of humanity
values the valueless, and will kill to keep it all going...

But remember this: God did not create the valueless.
That is merely "the Lucifer principle" in the minds of men.
In REALITY God created only things which have value.
Therefore, what has no value was not created by God.
To point at a person and call them valueless is a lie.

The World is upside-down only as long as we allow the
Lucifer Principle to rule our mind. When we relinquish
the UNREAL WORLD, we are free from Lack and Loss,
and liberated from FEAR and ATTACK. This world we
think we see, is not REAL, it does not EXIST.

Then we can clearly see that we once lived in a hell
where everyone valued the valueless, where the rule
of FEAR AND ATTACK keeps us at each others throat.
It then becomes self-evident that reality of this living
hell is temporary. When we cross over, the veil will
be lifted, and we will see clearly for the first time.

In this world of pain and illusion, we don't know what
we don't know, and what we do know is distorted and
upside-down. The Lucifer Principle is an invisible force,
and like many other unseen influences we fail to see,
they press against us and effect our beliefs, attitudes,
and our behaviors.

What if everything we've learned indirectly is wrong?
How can we claim to know anything with certainty?
Why do we trust anything outside our experience?

At the end of that road called "emptiness" is
an experience called "liberation" where the
Truth becomes self-evident and the illusions
of EGO and MAYA fall away.

When we step outside of this time-based illusion we
see with spiritual eyes what really is REAL, without
guilt from the past, or fear of the future. Only then
will we know our True Selves in our Wholeness and
in our Oneness with ALL THAT IS.

What I describe is SELF-REALIZATION

It (usually) all starts with that very first pair of 190.00 pair of (fill in your favorite shoe manufacturer here) for little Johnny...in the 1st grade. This is the beginning of separation from the kids that wear hand-me-downs and brown bag it each day in school.

Progressing forward, treating the young athletes better (by putting them on a pedestal) than the average or below average kid.

Fast forward to College sports. .. No need to excentuate here... Pro sports. The wild wild west coast. He he (Sublime nailed it, Holly-weird) The I'm better than you red carpet and suits and ties to honor the actors/actresses. ... CMA awards...... blacks vs whites..... poli-trickeries.... racism and the race card. ...... The bad cops. Bad hair. 7.00 capuchino's & rap music...

Money, drugs, crime & corruption... oh, forgot cable TV. .... x-rated video games...

Whala~ there we have it... Seriously, though, you can toss out most except for money & corruption. . The famous last words of the wisest man I've ever know

At the root of Ego is not our true self, rather all we find there is Fear and the Fear of lack loss. Chief among them being the Fear of attack on person and Fear of death. We desire to live. We are willing to kill in order to live.

THE SOUL IS NOT EGO.

The soul is what EGO is not.
Like the words from a son
"You can't have my Soul"
But I let my Ego go.

The Soul knows
Light and Darkness.

We are ruled by numbers and this will always be true this side of heaven.

That quotation pretty much defines 21st century culture right now.
In a nutshell, if someone disagrees with pretty much anything popular, they are ee-ville and immediately attacked.

Some of this stems from the digital age where everything is computerized, programmed and is, basically, the same.
So, why can't people be like that? Why can't we ALL agree on EVERYTHING? Well, there are - roughly - 8 billion human beings on this planet and each is as unique as their fingerprints. No two are the same... even those born as identical twins, have differences.

Other incomings...

Politics - It is one of the biggest jackhammers right now, chiseling away at many basics that have held us together for centuries. Those behind this, from all quarters, really don't give a flying rat's bohonkus about the damage being done because they seek to make everyone... every single one of us, identical to them in viewpoint.

Religion - It has been around longer than modern politics and there are some that have taken to bloody mayhem and soulless violence to frighten human civilization into a corner where all can be owned.

These are not good times in which to live as it requires the ability to look outward as much as inward.

toward a paradigm shift ... as that Event Horizon
get closer and closer, more and more people have
a sixth sense that everything is happening with a
purpose, that everything this world cares about
is meaningless, but that our worth as a person
is beyond measure, that we are dear and special
to the Divine Self which lives in all of us.

I stand as the EDGE of this Event Horizon
with great expectation.
