as operational names go, 'total destruction' is pretty cool, if a little clumsy. seems like ever greater and quicker escalation is unavoidable.

I don't like it. : (

If Russia is going to launch an operation like this, they wont just come out and announce it

Na they wouldn't release anything like "shock and awe" to the media and the general public weeks before they did it. I mean, who would do a stupid thing like that. ?

There are a few reasons why Russia would do that.

1. To let the US and Turkey know that there is going to be Activity Close to the Turkey boarder.

2. There will probably be a lot more rebel Activity where the attack are said to take place. Rebel Activity is a good thing for the Russians... It will be easier for them to spot and track rebel activity. And that creates good targets.

Kind of hard to assist when they are your own troops lol. Only Russia can put a stop to Turkeys dreams of a new fourth Turkish Caliphate, yes thats right people.

Three times the Turkish empire has dominated the Mediterranean region from where they are now all the way to Spain and down around to Morocco. You know, the same predicted empire of the anti-Christ!!

Turkey plans on Giving their passports to every citizen in all the huge Stan nations the day after they are allowed entry into the E.U., This would make the E.U. an Arab majority union overnight. Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan. Assad's Syria and Lebanon will quickly fall to them under just the threat of being overran in one night and to join the huge coalition to finally be able to attack Israel and win will makes them salivate at the mouths. Sudan, Libya and Ethiopia will be joining that party as well.

Think I am wrong, just watch and see.

Pray for Putin to stand up and fight Turkey right now while he has time. Pray for Obama to change his evil ways.

Er, the 'Stan' nations are Asian, not Arab.

The EU would not be instantly Arab, as you claim.

they had this sub in the Gulf of Mexico undetected for a week or two, cant fight what they cant see ...

The Russian sub set sail from its North Sea base on Sept. 4, escorted by two anti-sub warfare ships. Their arrival at destination in 10 days time will top up the new Russian military deployment in Syria.
If the Russians start going home that would be a good time for our troops to pack up and retreat.
with enough heat sand turns to glass
Kill enough of them they stop fighting..........youtu.be...

Some one at Infowars needs to learn how to read a map. Armenia Does not share a border with Russia. The Russians would have to go through Georgia, which I'm sure they would not mind doing. Or go through Azerbijan first to even get to Armenia
Armenia is closer to Glendale California than it is Russia.

(If you got that joke you've been living in L.A. too long

Which means carpet bombing on a hitherto unknown scale. Hiding in schools and hospitals wont work, the death toll will be significant, within the civilian populations. While the financial backers of this watch it on their sat TV's surely the focus should be on the backers of ISIS, unless of course they are untouchable.

Several reasons.

The main of which is both the US and Russia want a pipeline run through Syria.
