Bomb lab found in Hungary.. 6 people detained

Hungarian anti-terrorist police have detained six people who were in possession of automatic weapons or suspected of producing bombs suitable for terrorist attacks, the head of the unit said on Tuesday.

Police detained four people found to be heading towards the capital Budapest with explosives in their car, Janos Hajdu, Director General of the Counter Terrorism Centre, told the state television channel M1.

In a subsequent house search, police found a bomb-making laboratory with "explosives and devices that were suitable for killing people to the utmost extent", Hajdu said.

He gave no details of the suspects' identities or motives, except to say that the case had "international threads".

He also said police had found two other people with submachine guns, ammunition and silencers in their car, but again provided no further details. Counter Terrorism Centre officials were not immediately available for further comment.

M1 said two of the suspects had been formally placed under arrest, and a court would decide on the others on Wednesday.

Makes you wonder in how many countries in EU there are hidden bomb labs. Things are getting out of hand.

Agreed, things are getting wayyy too crazy and Europe's becoming more and more edgy. Things are gonna get a lot worse before they get better and my heart goes out to all the innocent people that will be affected by all of this.

Good news. One less terrorist bomb lab...means innocent lives saved.

So many places in the EU have disarmed their citizens, the disaster that is the EU boiling pot is about to over flow - me thinks.

Surely this will turn out to be just another over reaction by "racists" to a harmless muslim clock rehousing factory.

All joking aside, thank god they discovered it in time.

.... So, if Europe is boiling with muslim loonies wanting to take them out, why did EU just days ago propose to completely disarm civilians? Ain't that as if EU politicians wanted to prepare folks for culling?

Bomb labs in Hungary - which had to face this huge refugee storm as well? Makes one wonder.

At this point, nobody should have any misconceptions, this refugee exodus to Europe is all staged preparations for war. The only reasonable act is to throw all of them back. Let these rugpuppets piss their own sandpit.

Seems like Hajdú János (head of the Anti Terror Headquarters aka. TEK ) has embellished the story a little bit. Lately the news said it has nothing to do with migrants or islamic fundamentalists. None of the four arrested is kept in custody, 3 of them has been released long ago. Out of four arrested men the prosecutor's office suggested only one of the suspects for pre-trial detention, for commiting "misuse of firearms and explosives" but the court does not see merit in the escape, hiding, re-offending, influencing witnesses and other hazards therefore it has rejected the petition. All four alleged extremists at large to protect themself.

Also Hajdú János said recently, they have no suspect of international fundamentalist connectionts even tho two of the four arrested person has foreign nationality. The released information is still so limited, officials are yet to mention what nationality are those two.

And as a personal input, we (native, news follower Hungarians) have already seen a few cases where Hajdú János has got caught with misinterpreted, made up stories. He is a loyal friend of Orbán Viktor for decades, this Anti-Terror-Center (aka TEK) was established after the 2010 election and we consider it as Orbán Viktor's private military unit... Hajdú János used to be the private bodyguard of Orbán, so there...

I hope we get more real info soon.

Informal news, the mentioned explosives might be fireworks and firecrackers. Still waiting for an official statement.

Just watching the evening news, most likely the Anti-Terror-Center has arrested some relic collectors. Some world war history lover youngsters from the eastern border, so the 2 foreingers are Slovakians no doubt (still not stated officially, but it's sure). Most of the weapons they have collected in the forests from those border areas. There are still a lot of weapons and explosives can be found in several places. Well done. And the head of this special private forces was talking on tv for 30 minutes, shouting jihadists, international crime organizations, preparation for terror incident, bomb laboratory, blablabla, bull*khmm facepalm.
