That's a pretty funny story, but do you have a source for this story? I mean it looks like an email chain letter.

Funny story but sad truth.

This whole post is bull.

There is a dedicated team that handles customers who die, its called deceased estates.

Ive dealt with deceased estates at ANZ regarding credit cards, and they will refund any fees or interest, but the principal needs to be paid back.

You just have to have the necessary documents and certified ID.

what a joke

This thread is really funny if you stop to think about it and Kudos to the poster. You get the same effect from counties across the 50 states sending out voter registration cards and notices to show up for jury duty. My best friends dad continued to receive jury notices for him for 10 years after he died and finally I suggested he have them forwarded to the cemetery. After that they stopped.

My grandfather is still listed on search sites as being 122 years old with all kinds of records. This is a laugh to. My best,

A lady died this past January, and ANZ bank billed her for February and
March for their annual service charges on her credit card, and
Then added late fees and interest on the monthly charge The balance had
been $0.00, now is somewhere around $60.00.

How could the account balance possibly be more than zero?

The deceased is getting nothing but negative charges, fees and interest, so how does that equate to a balance of $60 when the account it all started with had an account balance of zero?
