God can only be experienced. There's no way reason adds anything to experiencing god. On the contrary, it darkens the perspective on god.

Is that your definition for spirituality? Consciousness?

Yeah, I'd say so, if I have to define it. At least it is for me. Just like "god", if I have to define it, it would be everything, i.e. the universe. and the consciousnesses that naturally arises from it.

I mean, if I have to define them.......
for the sake of common ground and place to start, at least.

Well it's another definition to add to the list I guess, although it seems a bit redundant.

I think reason destroys your perspective on your God and it must terrify you.

I haven't missed a beat of the thread.
Just now got caught up on it, and thought I'd seek some clarification.

There's nothing like mental blasphemy.

You should learn to get over it, nobody cares whether blasphemy may or may not upset/offend.

I expect nothing from you, and care nothing for your faith in me. Thanks for responding, anyway.

Just thought I'd duck my head in again and see if things had progressed to some variation of cohesive thought that I, personally, as a semi-interested reader (like channel-surfing, you know) could grasp onto and consider and so forth......
nm then....

carry on.

You see BuzzyWigs, I don't like how your kind makes up for good conversation.

Ah.
And I can't follow how your kind thinks it's a conversation at all...
so - let's agree that we are unable to communicate.

*high five*
Nice meeting you, Ladybug!

Like attempting to convince others atheists actually really believe in God.

Oh, hi buzzywigs. How can I be of service for you?

You can't. In any way at all. You can't.

Thanks for checking, though.

Indeed. Religion is the antithesis of reason. Or as worded earlier. The cure for logic is religion.

Faith is all about taking that blind leap. Good for you if you think that's courageous. I just think it's mindless.

I've seen Chris Angel do way cooler things than Jesus.

Well... that's kind of a given. I've only ever *seen* Chris Angel.
