The Center for Public Integrity just released a very ugly report. The State Integrity 2015 paints a very ugly picture of politics in M'erica. Alaska has the best score of a C....

Some notable F's include; Delaware, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Neveda, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota and Wyoming.

Michigan was the worst of all the states.

The shadowy aspects of Michigan’s money-driven politics serve as a key reason why the state ranks last among the 50 states with a grade of F and a numerical score of 51 out of 100 from the State Integrity Investigation, a data-driven assessment of state government transparency and accountability by the Center for Public Integrity and Global Integrity. Michigan received an F in 10 of the 13 categories of government operations that were examined.

How did your state do?

I wouldn't consider D+ "high". They scored among the highest. but not high.

I don't think anyone scored much higher than that. All the scores are pretty dismal.

Nevada ranked dead last for Lobbying disclosure - found that interesting (and was pretty much what I would've predicted, with Las Vegas and all)

MI Big o'le F.

Unsurprising. Just had two congress people get busted in an affair, and are running for their seats again, saying it shouldn't have anything to do with them running.

(never mind that we used public funds to try to cover that affair)

Yeah, I believe F is fitting.

a reply to: TheAmazingYeti I live in Michigan and it does not surprise me that Michigan ranked last. Crooked politicians, lawyers, judges and police.
