I agree all religions are being persecuted and mostly by majority Muslims. You have to be the right kind of Islam as well.

I can't name a single Muslim country I would want to live in and not feel the need to protect myself. Just imagine an open atheist in a Muslim country.

So the op felt it was necessary to post the whole article instead of a little bit and a link? Also a few incidents hardly equals to Christians being persecuted. If you look enough you can find stuff like this being done to Muslims and Jews so does that mean they are persecuted as well?

For someone as smart as you, your ability to bury your head in the sand on this issues is mind boggling. However, I do agree that Muslims and especially Jews are also persecuted because of their belief in God. It is reprehensible.

Just because I point out how other religions are having the same thing done to them means Christians aren't being persecuted? I just pointed out the hypocrisy of the article trying to make it appear like it is only happening to Christians. Sorry if that got your panties in a bunch.

The article is talking about Christian persecution and no other religion. If the article is about Christian why mention other religions when it deals with one specific religion? Your argument is not valid though the point you make is.

Of course other religions also are persecuted but this article deals with only one of them.

This time we live in has been foretold in both the bible and the Quran and this is only the beginning. Lets talk in a year or so and you will wish for these days to come back!

Revelations is my favorite book in the Bible!

But trying to interpret it, is a fools folly. See you in a year and I'm gonna rub your nose in this thread. Or if I'm wrong you can feed me to the "second beast"

This beast, which unsurprisingly follows the first, rises up out of the earth. It has two horns and speaks ‘like a dragon.’

btw...this Christians playing the victim is getting stale.

This is what happens when you put two religions in the same room, that are both the "ONLY way to god". The more extreme of the two groups will rise to the occasion, and persecute the others. Even those of their own group who don't believe exactly as they do.
Personally, if I were in charge of these immigrants, the rules would be simple. Any proselytizing or intimidation of Christians or Muslims either one, and you get deported next day. Try me! Please! I'd love to make an example of a few of you.

Posting any story of Christians being persecuted by Muslims on ATS is a total waste of time. Where have you been hiding, under a rock? It'll be shredded as untrue, unscientific, untrustworthy or improperly sourced. Get with the program!

Why isn't God doing anything?!?!?!?!?

Why does God not intervene when people are treated
as the article says Muslims are treating the Christians
in immigrant camps and housing?

Because he doesn't force his will on people.

The freedom extends to Muslims to kill, maim,
decapitate, rape, burn people alive, beat women,
have sex slaves, have real slaves.
God allows people freedom in their lives, and that
sometimes means they choose evil.
God doesn't force anyone to be "good" or we would
be slaves to God.
God's freedom allows people to choose to be evil.

Since it is clear you are an anti-theist
(someone who hates religion and
has a missionary zeal to evangelize
the entire world into hating religion)
You would not understand that justice occurs
for all eternity if one believes in God.
Justice is not on the earth because God
gave people free will, to do good or evil,
to be hateful or kind, to hate God or to
not believe in him.

If one believes in God
justice occurs for eternity,
and not on this earth,
as far as God is concerned, well, I'd hate
to be the guy that burned people alive.

If one believes, they believe that,
God allows us not to be His slave,
to not have to do what is good
and to do what we choose to do,
even if that means we are evil
to others.

If God forced us to all be good,
we would be no more than pets on a leash,
or slaves with no ability to do what we choose.

Before you have an anti-theist paranoid rage
that morphs on the thread into the real paranoia
of a coming Christian theocracy (the most idiotic and
paranoid thing I've ever seen on ATS)
I am not condemning or judging anyone to hell.

That is God's choice and God alone.
However, I would guess that someone who
decapitates people in the name of God,
or burns people alive in the name of God,
or rapes in the name of God;
won't live in paradise with 72 virgins to rape at will.

Hope that explains why Christians understand
that God won't intervene. Because He gave
people complete freedom to choose how they
live.

P.S. To reinforce since many of you will go into
a paranoid rage at what I wrote
I'm not condemning anyone to hell.
That is not my job.
Nor am I saying that any of you are going to hell.
Again, not for me to judge.

P.S.S. Also since many of you will fly into a paranoid rage;
I am NOT saying all Muslims do these things,
there are wackos and weirdos in every group on the
earth.

P.P.S.S. This post is on topic because it is a reply to
the question of why God doesn't intervene in the
conflict between the Muslims and the Christians
in the immigrant camps.

Since you feel that way I have a suggestion for you to prove your point.

Round up a large group of atheist and anti-theists
who are ardent gay rights activists
with at least 1/3 of them GLBTQ+
and then go and live with the Muslim immigrants for
several months. Helping the Muslim immigrant
community.
That would prove your point that it is really only a
problem if Christians are present.

Ah, yes, the "free will" bit. . .

i thought all of this was predetermined by God?

omniscient being, creator of all, loving and forgiving.

but cross me and i'll send you to a lake of hell fire for all of eternity.

man, that guy is like the most insecure dude ever!

and don't claim to know me, grandma. i am religious

"people are my religion, because i believe in them"

p.s. you don't have to say i am going to hell, you already believe it in your heart of hearts. i'm sure we could sit face to face and have a pleasant conversation, but in the back of your mind is the thought "he's going to burn." FOREVER. i get it, my whole family is that way. which is cool. I don't get defensive and in their face. why don't we just find out when we find out? and if i'm not gnashing and gnawing my teeth, we can go out for lunch!

there are wackos and weirdos in every group on the earth.

And how!!

It could have been Muslims and Jews. Or any other two religions that are the "ONLY way to god". Don't be projecting that persecution on me. At least not this time.

Why isn't God doing anything?!?!?!?!?

Because he doesn't force his will on people.

Why does God think the free will of the murderer trumps the free will of the victim? If the victim is Christian, and prayed to God to save him and his family from harm, why wouldn't God intervene. Especialy after Jesus said this:

John 14:13
Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14"If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

Can't respond, the response would be off topic.

I actually expect my post to be removed for just replying to you.

My earlier one was on topic because the person was asking
why God doesn't intervene in the conflict happening
between the Muslims and the Christians in immigrant camps
and housing.

Sure are a lot of hateful malcontents in the world.

One thing that will help solve it is to climb off the cross.

We could use the wood.

If you can't answer the question just say so.

Asking, in a thread about Christian persecution, "why doesn't God do something" isn't any more off topic than your answer, "Free will". My question was right on topic. Why doesn't God save the Christians who pray to him and believe in his promises to answer prayer. Or, is that too persecutive?

Ok, I will go with your assumption that it only would
happen with any two religions.

So prove it to me. Take a large group of
loving and kind atheists, with a representative
number of LGBTQ+ members who are kind
and loving, and a representative number of
strong feminists who are kind and loving;
to the immigrant camps and housing.
That is the only way to prove your thesis.

You can easily prove me wrong -
just send in only atheists, atheist gay people,
atheist feminists to with kindness care for
the Muslim immigrants in the camps
at in their immigrant housing.
Then I'll believe you that it is
only a problem when 2 different
religions collide.
and that non-Muslim religions are the problem.

Once more, ask it all you want, That is not persecution at all.

Just ask it in another thread where the question belongs.

Mods, I expect you to delete this answer for being off topic.

This thread is about Muslims doing things to make life
miserable for Christians in the immigrant camps
and in the immigrant housing.

I replied as to why, when the question was asked,
I thought that God, since both believe in God,
doesn't intervene and "fix" the situation.

Your question takes the thread in an entirely different direction,
from why the Muslims are creating problems for the Christians.

Maybe the reason you guys are suffering from a persecution complex is not because people are actively trying to attack you guys but because Christians are now losing the title of the dominant theological ideology to the growing Islamic religion? Who would've thought eh..
