Infant mortality rates have been dropping for a long time, but not every pregnancy produces a viable child.
I won't even touch upon your religious views, I'm just not qualified for that, but you need to accept the fact that babies do die during the difficult
process of birth. So many factors come into play during gestation, and at that most critical time of birth there is a cascade of processes that need
to happen in the correct sequence.
Nobody is to blame, biology just didn't allow this one to be born alive and healthy. Life is like that, and as much as I feel for your loss, I also
understand that nature selects the loss of one for something greater that may come after.
Grieve for your dead, but never give up hope for the future.
