It's citizens.

So many people are misinformed and just down right delusional when it comes to real issues.

Instead of listening to scientists and scholars, they'd rather listen to soccer moms and dads that "did their research" and accuses every scientific organization as being "paid off shills" so you end up with people refuting facts and subsequently delving into a delusional state. There is no trust in this country. The people do not trust the government, the media, nor the scientists.

I wouldn't doubt if this nation implodes.

The problem with your scientist theory is there are fake scientists like Big Pharma companies. The main issue today compare to the past is, their are no scientists showing off their inventions to the public. Anyone who does free energy will end up murdered...

You can't trust every scientists you see. Nor can you get rid of greed off people until you break their system.
