The Purge continues , North Korea’s vice premier ‘has been executed by firing squad’

According to Yonhap news agency reports vice-premier Choe Yong-gon has been executed after he had spoken out over the leader's forestation policy , a brave , or as it turns out not so smart move.

It's believed that Kim Jong-Un has retired dozens of officials since he took office in 2011 (feels longer) , his most spectacular retirement was that of Defence Minister Hyon Yong-chol who was reportedly shot with anti-aircraft guns , we can only guess at the fate suffered by Choe Yong-gon.

SEOUL, Aug. 12 (Yonhap) -- North Korean leader Kim Jong-un ordered the execution of the country's vice premier by shooting earlier this year, sources said Tuesday, in another sign of the leader's reign of terror.

Vice Premier Choe Yong-gon was executed in May as he had expressed discomfort against the young leader's forestation policy, according to the sources.

I wonder why is he against forestation or is that just a cover story? I'm pretty sure we're seeing a low intensity civil war between Kim supporters and members of the military.

It may well be just a cover story given to cover something else , perhaps he was the head of a plot to take down the leader or perhaps he just got to big for his boots and became an example of disagree with the leader at your peril.

His position of vice premier may suggest a plot.
