Very interesting study. I think I have read before about a double meaning for 'compounds strange' in sonnet 76.

I saw the first version of this story on CNN today, but it didn't have much information. This is the original, much better.

You're right. I edited to say it is a pdf.

Wouldn't surprise me - drugs have had a huge impact and played a huge role in creativity, enlightenment and religion.
Some of our greatest creations, writings, songs and ideas have come from and been realized because of drugs.

Reldra, Reldra get real. I live a stones throw from where he was SUPPOSED to live. No-body, and I mean no-body knows who Shakespeare was, where he lived , what he looked like or any thing. The only thing people have is stories wrote by some-one calling himself Shakespeare.
Yes, Stratford-on avon has some documents with the name Shakespeare and some of his books mention the area. But there is no evidence that any of the hype in Stratford is true, but Stratford has taken it and run with it.
It's exactly the same as Robin Hood and Nottingham.
