If we banned the confederate flag then all flags of hate should be banned.

You forgot the Union Jack, after all, the English were heavy into the slave trade as were the Spanish and Portuguese!

But why stop with flags?

Shouldn't they be calling for removal of all the Civil War Southern Generals statues from Government grounds? And what about the old plantation homes....shouldn't they be bulldozed?

I love a culture war.....they can spin outa control really fast!

Sorry, the Rainbow Flag is a symbol of hate alongside the Nazi flag?

Yeah, those gay folks, they're always out there beating up skinheads and forcing their lifestyle on others.

Oh wait, no.

Also, in most of the world, the Nazi flag is banned. It's only in America that there still seem to be 'people' who fly it.

Ban all flags and all tattoos please

Well, I'd be boned in this scenario.

Honestly, this horsecrap about the rebel flag reminds me of a Westboro Baptist rally gone amuck... bunch of idiots milling about with "GOD HATES FLAGS" posterboards demanding to get their attention whoring itch scratched. I don't know whether to point and laugh or run for the hills.

What is called the confederate flag was also known as the Union Jack of the Confederacy. Long since forgotten as the victor gets to change history over the defeated.

May the South live on!
