Isn't Russian media expansion because of the Russian government?

What I find interesting is that they wear Soviet styled uniforms and refer to their instructor as "comrade." Tovarish, is a Soviet era title.

Have you noticed how far Russian nationalism has gone it's re writing history. . Stalin is hailed as a hero who didn't murder millions, but who won the war and modernized the country. They have opened museums in his honor but strangely wonder why this might drive away countries like Ukraine where Stallin killed millions of their people. The other thing is Russians view the collapse of the Soviet empire as a result of Western intervention rather than the failure of economic policies. This is all part of Putin's propaganda campaigns. And funny part is its the same thing Hitler did he created a mythos of how Germans were superior. And it was Jews and the west that destroyed the great german empire. And only Hitler could keep them from destroying germany. Putin learned from Stalin and he learned from hitler. I really do hope that Russians eventually realize that Putin is a fascist and has so far followed Hitlers rise to power exactly. Running the gambit of false flags to using ethnic identity as the reason for invasion and of course corruption.

As fascist regimes are often ruled by an unchallenged leader who surrounds himself with sympathizers, these states tend to develop into a kleptocracy. Croynism, corruption, bribery and embezzlement becomes widespread.

Corruption in Russia is rampant and widespread. From the local clinic to the inner circle of the Kremlin - corruption is a vivid and integral part of the Russian economy from top to bottom.

and this is why Putin will do everything he can to retain power. There is no guarantee any successor to Putin would "overlook" the 5 finger discounts Putin and his cronies were taking while he was in power. If anything the info would be used to weaken Putin and any person associated with Putin who is still in office somewhere.

Russia and the Russian people have so much potential and people like Putin have obliterated it by clinging to a pie in the sky dream of a new Soviet Empire.
