Here is the full interview from Yahoo! with Bernie Sanders and Katie Couric. For those interested in what Bernie Sanders has to say or what his plans are, this is for you. This 40 min. interview covers a wide range of topics, each of which are even timestamped below so you can jump to the topics you're interested in hearing.

I personally think this is a fantastic video. Bernie's honesty and integrity shine through and are clear for anyone to see. Better than that though is the fact that he answers each question with real answers. Not some "talking points" or "partisan slogans" that leave the viewer with just a bunch of empty rhetoric. He actually explains the how and why about what his plans are. I have yet to even hear a plan from anyone else let alone how they intend on making it happen.

I think everyone will take something away from this interview, whether or not you're a Bernie supporter. If nothing else it shows a real man, with real answers to real problems we all face.

Time stamps:
3:30 - Bernie on the Patriot Act/Freedom Act & NSA surveillance
7:33 - Bernie on challenging Hillary Clinton
10:38 - Bernie on Super PACs/Campaign finance
13:15 - Bernie on Citizens United/getting money out of politics
16:10 - Bernie on income inequality/raising taxes on the 1%
17:27 - Bernie on unemployment/creating jobs/minimum wage
18:56 - Bernie on free/affordable college education
20:14 - Bernie on creating real change/political revolution
22:02 - Bernie on Social Security
24:03 - Bernie on foreign policy/ISIS/war
26:54 - Bernie on police violence/demilitarization of police/civil unrest
29:04 - Bernie on Marijuana/smoking weed
30:08 - Bernie on ending the war on drugs
30:42 - Bernie on his essay from 1972
33:07 - Bernie on democratic socialism
33:59 - Bernie on his age
34:45 - Bernie on republicans
36:30 - Bernie on republicans calling him extreme
37:49 - Bernie on becoming president

She's just asking the questions, so who cares. I'm not exactly her biggest fan either and didn't like a couple of her attempts at baiting Bernie into bad mouthing Hillary either. But that isn't what's important. This is an interview about him and his policies not Katie. Who cares who it is asking the questions??? It's the answers that are important.

Before viewing, I will be looking for his solutions and all the "how to" and "how long it will take".

To date, he has never offered those meat and potato answers.

Usually it's just parroting what everybody already knows.

Lambkiller tactics work easy though.

He's answered them better than anyone else ever has. Keep in mind it's still only a 40 min. show. Nobody can give you a point by point play of every topic listed in that time. If you can show me one current member of any party who answers these same questions any better I'd love to see it.

That's funny because so far he seems to be shocking people with the things he says because they aren't what anyone else is saying. Most people are saying he's a radical with his ideas so I'm not sure what you're talking about as far as him parroting anyone. Nobody else seems to even have the balls to say some of the stuff he's said so far out of fear that their Super Rich Donors will stop supporting them. Bernie has already said that he's not worried about rich people not supporting him because he didn't figure they would anyway.

What the hell is "lambkiller" BTW??? I've never heard that term before.

No one cares what a politician says anymore because we know they are lying when their lips move. Anyone that still falls for stuff has my sympathy.

I don't believe that. I think people do care and I even think you care too. But I understand where it is you're coming from too. We've all basically given up because everything has been so f**ked up for so long that it all seems hopeless and it may be hopeless. But what are you going to do??? Just say screw it and give up or are you going to at least put up whatever fight you can and at the very least go down in defiance of the system that is oppressing you???

Just the fact that you're here on ATS and the posts that you make here I know without a doubt you care about the situation we're in and you don't like it. I'd even go so far as to say you're a little pissed off about it. Well, so am I and so are a lot of people. So we can't just say "no one cares" because we do care. The question is do we care enough to change it or not???

Even if it is too late and we are destined to lose I'm not comfortable going down like a b*tch. If the powers that be are going to win and nothing can change it, so be it, but I'm not going to just let them have it. They are going to have to steal every last bit of it from me before they get it. Because even if I'm going to lose, I'm not just going to give up. F*ck them, they don't deserve an easy victory. They haven't earned that ending and we don't deserve that ending.

You are correct I care, but after Bush and Obama I don't trust a word I hear from a politician. I am probably voting for Gary Johnson or Rand Paul, but I haven't decided yet.

"Republicans: Bernie Sanders, no way he is too far extreme!"

"Bernie Sanders: These people that wish to cut social security, medicare, medicaid and nutritional assistance. Give tax breaks to billionaires at a time we have more wealth inequality, they reject science, who support the current system that allows billionaires to buy our elections, and they call me too extreme?!"

I think his crowds and support will grow.

Does does Bernie want to end the Fed, or at least expose the Fed? Serious question. Does he want to end the IRS as well? Does Bernie want to do away with lobbyists and make bribery of our elected officials illegal once and for all?

If he would answer yes on those questions, and make them the #1 priority then perhaps he should be considered. We NEED those issues to be addressed before anything else can be fixed. To date, I only know of one honest and unwavering politician (of 30 yrs) in recent past who tried to address them, but he got shunned, ridiculed, 80 seconds during a 2 hour long debate, no media coverage other than smeared all over the place etc. All this while most idiots in America bought the lies from the media hook, line and sinker.

I may sit this next election out, I learned too much BS from the last one. So far to me, Bernie is no different than any other liberal politician spewing the same old crap, not offering to expose the whole thing and get the stack of cards falling as it needs to happen in order to rebuild from this mess.

I didn't vote the last election. I should have to let my voice heard for at least the local election. However if your a republican I would understand why you don't want anyone to voice there vote, this shows in there legislative actions. We have another almost 1.5 years till the election, I can't imagine the current republican controlled congress or state governments passing any good legislation between now and then.

I do expect them to cut education, social security if they can, medicare and medicaid, and more of the religious freedom crap or other social distractions. The next election will insure a huge turnout by the people, the majority of the people and they tend to not vote republican anymore.

Introduced Federal Reserve Transparency Act with Ron Paul

When Fed Chair Ben Bernanke refuses to give us information about the trillions of dollars of credit that he recently passed out in the bailout process because that would be "counterproductive," he is really saying, "It's none of your business." He may well be protected by the law, but he is in defiance of the Constitution. The courts, under today's circumstances, will never rule that the Federal Reserve Bank chairman must reveal the information that the Congress or the people seek. One thing I have noticed in studying the issue is that the more power the Fed has gained, the greater the secrecy they demand. Transparency is currently a hot issue in Congress because the people have awoken and have sent a message. This is not a conservative or liberal issue; it's not a Republican or Democratic issue. It is pervasive, across the political spectrum. I introduced a Federal Reserve audit bill the Federal Reserve Transparency Act, HR 1207, which Bernie Sanders introduced in the Senate. I'm a Libertarian. It's in my signature.

Only someone without the lights on upstairs would be a Democrat or Republican after the last 14 years.

He won't be an option after the primaries. Who do you vote for when the powers that be give us a choice of Clinton or Bush? That is why Gary Johnson will probably be my vote as he will likely be available on the Libertarian ticket.

I will NEVER vote for a Bush or Clinton.
