WARNING! Disturbing image

I know there are sometimes a few bad apples, but this is way beyond anything I've seen.

Link

I am still trying to understand this. How worse can it get?

These men should be facing 4th amendment charges and put away for a long long time.

I don't know if this is real or a fake.

In any case you should warn people that there is a potentially disturbing image.

I hope this is not real.

Having looked a little deeper, this is in fact a real picture.

It shames me as a human being, not even going to get into the idea of law enforcement issues. Fecking animals

Was the black guy forced to pose?

Well...this photo was taken over 10 years ago and neither of these guys are cops anymore. Not even sure why this is a story at all at this point.....must just be to rile up some more racial tension. GO MSM!

Evidently the "suspect with 20 bags of marijuana" was "let go" and noone knows who the man in the picture is.

It is real and the black guy volunteered to do the picture. Seems like all of them are idiots to me. Like vasa said though, this is about 10 years old.

From this link

Careful same yucky picture..

the other cop, Jerome Finnigan, was sentenced to 12 years in prison in 2011 for his role in a cop-lead gang responsible for a series of robberies. "

Posed pick and evidently the drug dealer gave the police officers the weapons they have in the pic . Looks as if they were clowning around.

CPD cops posed for photo standing over black man dressed in antlers

Well, as another poster pointed out, this was a decade ago.

*yawn*

Too tired to manufacture any outrage.

I'll loot tomorrow.

the deer was posing too, has his tongue out and everything, however, as the reporter said, it's racist tones are sick.

But yeah, 10 year old photo?

I could watch that reporter with the brown hair talk about the Potato industry all day - fabulous looking lady!

Can we dredge up photo's of lynching's from the 50's and 60's also?

I mean, when is enough, enough?

Why do we purposefully dip into the well of hatred?

Can I join you? I am behind the 8 ball and just heard today that Taylor Swift retired. I would like to grab some CD's before they fly off the shelves. Do we still get paid to do this btw?

Well, if we don't, then we can just protest and loot for that as well.

God of our fathers, known of old—
Lord of our far-flung battle line—
Beneath whose awful hand we hold
Dominion over palm and pine—
Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet,
Lest we forget—lest we forget!

The tumult and the shouting dies—
The Captains and the Kings depart—
Still stands Thine ancient sacrifice,
An humble and a contrite heart.
Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet,
Lest we forget—lest we forget!

Far-called our navies melt away—
On dune and headland sinks the fire—
Lo, all our pomp of yesterday
Is one with Nineveh and Tyre!
Judge of the Nations, spare us yet,
Lest we forget—lest we forget!

If, drunk with sight of power, we loose
Wild tongues that have not Thee in awe—
Such boastings as the Gentiles use,
Or lesser breeds without the Law—
Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet,
Lest we forget—lest we forget!

For heathen heart that puts her trust
In reeking tube and iron shard—
All valiant dust that builds on dust,
And guarding calls not Thee to guard.
For frantic boast and foolish word,
Thy Mercy on Thy People, Lord!
Amen.

I am not a religious person nor have ever been, but this poem reminds me why we have to remember.

I'll remember Rosa Parks.
Not the bus driver.

I'll remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Not James Earl Ray.

I'll remember Freedom Marches.
Not the KKK.

Some things should never be forgotten, others, are good to let die in the past.

Just my humble opinion.

I agree with your sentiments.
I simply saw the story.
Then saw people saying what does it matter, it was 10 years ago?
Yet so relevant.
And thought the poem appropriate.
