I am in West Monroe North Louisiana, yes the home of Duck Commander.
For about a week or so a loud hum has been present throughout the town, it is non stop night and day.
It sounds cicada like but louder and persistent, it is also deeper than the cicada sound.
It sounds like air rushing through a pipe or at least that is the closest way I can describe it.

Anyone in this area also hearing it? My group of friends can hear it at their homes so I know I'm not losing my mind.
One of them lives about 20 miles from town and said it is just as loud there.

The USGS earthquake map is going crazy. There is something going on with Gaia. Could this be the foretold end of the fourth world? It is stated by the Mayans that this era shall end with a world wide earthquake.

I've tried with m phone but it doesn't catch it, it's like coming from high up. I'll try again from a remote location where there are no industrial noises also present.

Yes...Because that's surely the most logical answer...

Totally, the Mayans were just off by a couple years. Happens to everyone...

I'm sure planet x will be showing up any day now. Everyone will clearly be able to see it the moment an honest politician gets elected in the US.

That's interesting. This reminded me that the friend I mentioned that lives 20 miles out of town is receiving a monthly check from an energy company because his property is directly above salt caverns where the gov holds some of the natural gas strategic reserves.

There have been three worlds that were destroyed before this one. Each time, mankind had to find a way to survive. What better way to collapse our civilization than to shake the very foundation. Something is going on. I can feel it in the air. reply to: AdmireTheDistance

it is sad about the bees but come to think of it it does sound like millions of bees on steroids, same buzzing/humming type of sound.

This may well be related to plate adjustment-especially being as it is in Louisiana.

A few sources I follow and the data suggests the New Madrid adjustment will be this year! You say you are local? I would move if I were you!

Here's a few links that should help in explaining what is occurring in the US.

Seems much more likely to me that it's a fracking or other oil & gas pump.

Fracking uses multiple pumps, each mounted on a large truck.
