I have been working on a light hearted thread about dumb laws . Yes i know it has been done before but the site that is linked breaks dumb laws right down to a local level . Some might find their own town mentioned . I goes world or US /state and local laws .I went to complaints then typed a message and pasted the thread . sent and got a cookie . So i am assuming it went through ok . Just wondering , am i to impatient or have i done something wrong .

Just give it time, not sure there is an average time, just depends on how busy they are I'm sure.

If you got your cookie, it went through. The mods will respond as soon as they can. This is a big site, and it keeps them quite busy. If it's not something urgent, you'll probably get a response within a day or two, maybe sooner.

I've only ever contacted one- although it was a cut and dry question on policy. Had a response within an hour or two- wasn't exactly on the edge of my seat waiting.
cheers!

If you're sitting there waiting to hit submit, then yeah lol. It won't be that quick. Or just post it. From the sounds of it, it's nothing that would violate the T&C's, so....That's your call though.

Seems a bit rude to ask then go ahead anyway

Dear Hutch,
Here's the secret. Don't tell.

Give them lots of beer or good whiskey.
Sorry Mods your secret is out and I am out of booty too.

Just give them time they are busy tending hangovers.

Sorry I'm in an Easter celebratory mood here, Happy Easter Hutch, they will find you, I promise.

I absolutely agree. I was just throwing it out there as an option, is all.

You can also use this Staff Alert Link and see if that gets one of us busy folks to review your query.

Please be specific and add links to your message (if such are needed). The more information you provide, the easier it is for us to assist and review one's query/problem.

I suggest you do that either way when making a thread. I have banged my head on the desk a few times after typing up a lengthy OP, then having the internet monsters just gobble it up when I hit send a few times lol.

^^haha, yes do that. I bet he knows. I better have kids before I get too too old, so they can tell me what the heck is going on these days lol.

yep.. Write it in a word processor..

Besides you should keep a copy of your own threads right?

It can cause easier navigation into future thoughts, or even back tracking and linking new ideas to old threads..
