What is Kevin Blanch's conclusion concerning people's opinion about Fukushima and its effects? After pouring his heart and soul into reporting about those issues for over 4 years, after a huge journey of documenting the effects of Fukushima first hand, well, please listen for yourself...

www.youtube.com...

Personally I don't agree with Blanch. I believe that what's going on is worse than people not caring. I think what's happening is what's described in the following song. Humanity is collectively committing suicide.

I don't think it's that people don't care; they just don't KNOW. The media in the U.S. has put a stranglehold on it so we all think the crisis has been solved. There's nothing being reported!!

When this event occurred, I was devastated. I feel like the world had been poisoned for essentially an eternity and the world would never have a chance of being close to the same no matter what solutions could be found, if any. I was depressed that whole year and felt there was no future for the planet, esp. the human race. No one I knew was very concerned and now it isn't even a topic of discussion.

In my opinion, the only people who care or have any concern are the Japanese and other people in that region. Maybe a few on the west coast of the U.S. are still worried, but most have forgotten or never cared in the first place. With all the aging nuclear power plants around the world and the push for "green" nuclear energy, I feel like the planet is entirely doomed. I have to push this out of my mind in order to function on a daily basis, but it resides in the back of my mind and resurfaces from time to time.

If humanity has become so dumb that they need everything served up on a silver MSM platter in order to take it seriously then why should we even care if we go extinct?

If we're that dumb collectively then we're finished regardless of Fukushima/nuclearism.

Not in the information age when anyone can find ENENews, Jeff Rense, Dana Dunford, Yoichi Shimatsu, Kevin Blanch, and many others that are telling the truth about Fukushima and its effects. Even mainstream people such as Michio Kaku have told a lot of truth about Fukushima and its effects.

Being ignorant of the biggest known disaster in human history is a choice for anyone with regular access to the Internet (outside of possibly North Korea and places like that).

That's why I've decided that what's happening is a sub-conscious worldwide suicide as is described in the song in the original post. Metaphorically speaking, humanity has cut its wrists and it's letting the blood pour out and doing nothing about it. Not only that, it's cutting its wrists further by building more nuclear power plants all over the world currently.

There could be other possible explanations to explain all this such as the "spiritual stupor" that's mentioned in the Bible. Humanity may have been "programmed" to be zombies that don't care if they live or die anymore. There are endless possibilities such as those.

But, if you're going to let humanity off the hook because information about Fukushima isn't being served on a silver MSM platter, you're more cynical about the state of humanity than I am.

PEOPLE really do care! Governments are the ones who apparently don't care! This problem should have been kicked in the ass the moment it happened! Governments/people of power/money should have gotten together immediately and figured out how to stop this tragedy from getting any worse! Steps should have been taken within the first couple days of this happening...We shouldn't be talking about this YEARS after it happened like this! Why can't people just get along and work together to save humanity??? We are in a sad state of affairs currently, not just the USA but worldwide! I wish people would work together to better everyone!

My believe it is a perfect example of when doom porn comes up and bites people in the ass. There are so many outlandish and ridiculous claims made about the current effects of Fukushima. That all the doom porn and false claims has desensitized people to what is actually going on.

Hmmmm....Your angry reply has got me thinking...With the technology age where everything is at our fingertips and how it's made everything easier for us, it HAS made us lazy in some respects. We're being fed news on CNN, Fox, NBC, CNBC, CBS...and no one has been giving updates on the Fukushima crisis so we believe all is well. Yes, we are ignorant. I don't know of any of my friends who search for stories online. They hear of them because I do searches online (and I belong to ATS, where I get alot of stories I wasn't aware of!) There are just so many other stories we're being fed about Russia, the French Alps plane crash and all kinds of other stories in the past years that the events have a short shelf-life. The media is distracting us from other REAL world-wide, ongoing problems. I think if msm were reporting on the Fukushima crisis we'd be more worried.

The ocean life mass die-offs are concerning along the Pacific coast but it's being reported as climate change, not radiation. It's distracting us from what's possibly really going on. I do suspect the radiation has a role in it.

I'm not attacking you at all, I agree it's sad and horrifying that this is going on.

I'm sorry if my reply to your earlier post sounded like I was attacking you because I wasn't.

However, I am really tired of people that seem to have the view that humanity is just a bunch of androids that need to be programmed by the MSM on a given topic or they won't take it seriously. Again, I am cynical about humanity but that view makes us no better than machines that can't function without the proper programming. I'm not ready to accept that that's reality yet, I'm too much of an optimist to believe that we've reached that level of stupidity and hopelessness. However, to those that take that view I would repeat the question I posed earlier:

If humanity has become so dumb that they need everything served up on a silver MSM platter in order to take it seriously then why should we even care if we go extinct?

It's interesting to me that you changed your position now to humanity just being "lazy" and that being the reason for the ignorance of Fukushima and its effects.

Can you explain to me then, what's the difference between your "lazy" theory and Kevin Blanch's conclusion that humanity doesn't care?

I would see them as one in the same. Laziness in this instance would require a complete lack of caring in my opinion.

To the extent of Mr Blanches claim is true, the reason is because Fukushima is a banned topic in the mainstream media. I also suggest it's because people feel such a deep sense of helplessness about it, they simply turn their backs on it.

There's this mushroom expert that thinks he could remove most of the radiation at Fukushima with a particular type of mushrooms. I say, go for it, I mean anything at this point is better than nothing!

People do care, it's just overwhelming for us. However, it shouldn't be for government and corporations although...

Who knows? Maybe the situation is already under control but some people love to instil fear in our minds because fear makes us stupid and controllable.

It's not that people don't care, it's just they don't have time to care. We are all so caught up in our lives with job, paying rent, making money, struggling to keep ourselves alive, that everything else pales in comparison.

You don't even get enough time to care about beloved people who died in your proximity. Because after 3 days at most, you must continue to work like an idiot, and fill your head up with stupid ideas of how to market the next stupid mobile phone (which no one really needs), otherwise you lose your job. We are so caught up in the financial system that it keeps us in chains, and makes us forget about the important things, regardless what disasters happen.

That is very true, people have posted false maps and graphs and made many silly doom porn claims about it.

What exactly are Kevin Blanch's scientific credentials?

It is a coverup... nothing more.
Not a good state of affairs over there and not getting better.
Just better at coving it all up.
The toatal damaged caused is yet to fully seen.
Anyone who thinks it's all good now has no idea .......
This is worse then Chernobyl by far and it is still effecting the region and people...

From what you have seen, its under control. This leaves 2 possibilities:

1. You are not looking.
2. See #1.

They don't even know where the coriums are... how do you propose to call that scenario "under control'?????
