What Colour Is This Dress

Here is a little bit of fun. I came acroos this dress earlier and to me it looked white and gold. My partner looked at it and it looked blue and black. People have been arguing on twitter debating the colour. This is not caused by colour blindess.

There are a few theories to what is going on here but as such no one really knows.

This is what Dr. Neitz who has been working in the field of color vision research for about 35 year has to say about it.

I see light blue closer to purple than teal on the color spectrum and a somewhat goldish color in the middle, but there's some really bright lighting or something that might obscure the middle colors true appearance. Is definitely not white though.

Light blue. Can't really tell because the stupid incompetent photographer don't have the intellectual capacity to take a clear photo. As a result, this endless smacking deserving person wasted millions of man hour from around the world, and all the effort was in vain. All because of an imbecile.

Is it weird that I see the white/gold AND the blue/black?
