It means that there is a lot of fire in your story.

I thought firery was a word ,
but the computer underlines the word with red, when I type it , suggesting that my spelling of it is wrong.
However I looked it up and no, that word is correct.

I put sp next to the word, as at that moment I was not sure,

Now I have not checked but I think sp is a short way to suggest that the spelling is wrong ?

Anyhow firery is a word and does describe a lot of fire and was meant in the best possible way.

I won't be on here as much as I am being scaled back on my internet connection soon , maybe it's for the best.

I am relieved that the story did felt fiery. I am french Canadian, conveying the emotions in English is still a challenge - well, at least when it comes to literature.

I saw that spunky /sassy explaination as well , as I did check it actually , but must have been too fast and got all confused, not hard with my head. lol.
I am still having spelling problems too.
It was a difficult weekend .
