Skinheads Hunt Native American Family: Guess Who Gets Arrested?

These morons always have to brag. They incriminate themselves, that is if anyone's listening (or, in this case, reading): Two hours after attacking the Bontas, Josh Janiszewski of Fernley wrote, “Just laid the fists and boots to some 6′ 5” tongan dude. what you got on little guys?” at 3:13 p.m. When asked if they gave them hell, Josh responded. “Oh we did. That’s for sure!” at 3:48 p.m. “Amen,” said Jacob Cassell at 4:07 p.m. Jacob’s mother Dee Cassell also commented, “So…who has blood? You guys need to come home to mom?” at 4:48 p.m. She later added that she gave them First Aid. “Better have ur asses at home after I did 1st aid. Don’t piss off women – they r worse than men!” she wrote at 8:00 p.m. When asked if they got “some good licks” in, Josh said, “sent em to the hospital, they got #ed up man, thats for sure.”

Since this crime occurred, the family has found out that skinheads have attacked other Native American families in nearby towns as well, but nobody reports the crimes because they feel the police won't help them. AND THEY'RE RIGHT!!!!!

Of course it is a conservative run state. See what happens when you let "Little" things like mascot names go. People won't respect you or your issues and which leads to even more demeaning or abusive behavior such as above.

I know the conservative will be in here to say...it's not racism..what about racism against whites....we don't know the full story...yadda yadda and of course expect this thread to go nowhere...because the conservative members will derail it in their usual ways.

But I put it up for discussion.

It really annoys me when the word " Skinhead" appears in subjects such as this.

I was an original skinhead, a culture founded in England in the late 1960's. Skinheads at that time had nothing to do with racial violence. It was a culture founded on lifestyle , fashion and music.

Why can't these morons find another title to use rather than " Skinheads "

Nope. It's one of the first things I noticed. They are "play" skinheads.... Idiots. From the way the mom talked on FB she's a real winner too apparently.

Disgusting. That's all I can say. All of them should be arrested. Even the mom... It's quite obvious where they got their sense from. Spreading ignorant genes around the pool should be outlawed.

This is one of those things that I just don't get. I don't get why anyone harms anyone else for no other reason than the way they look, where they come from, what they believe in, etc.

One.. What does this have to do with conservatism? Why even bring that into the fold?

Two: I grew up in Nevada and have had run ins with skin heads before. Back in 98 a group of skin heads killed two friends of mine, torturing one for hours before he finally died. That was in Las Vegas.

About 11 years ago, while living in Northern Nevada, my friend and I went out a little East of Pyramid Lake just passed the Reservation out there. We were armed and coyote hunting when the area where we set up our camp suddenly filled up with vehicles and a bunch of bald white dudes, who were also armed. Luckily we were well camouflaged and on higher ground.

Long story short it took us a couple of hours to get out of there without being noticed. We ditched everything but the guns and didn't go back for it.

Lastly: Skinheads have always been active in Nevada. They have been a problem for as long as I lived there and it is no surprise to see this going on in places like Fernley, which is generally in the middle of nowhere.

That is some amazing # right there if it's all true as reported.
How can they be arrested when the skinheads have no injuries?
How can they throw someone in jail and deny medical treatment?
This sounds like a story from 100 years ago.
I had really thought we were beyond this kind of insanity.
(old fashioned skin heads are hard to find around here nowadays - that's an improvement anyway)

It's been the common term here in the US for racist bald guys since the 80's.
Doc Martens, red suspenders and t-shirts are their uniforms.
Brits skins and American skins are certainly NOT interchangeable.
There also are plenty of men who shave their heads who have nothing whatsoever to do with the above mentioned group.

Seriously? This happened because sports teams are named "Redskins," "Braves," and "Indians?"

I think the OP is simply smashing all of these ridiculous racial talking points together to see what sticks.

The whole point of his OP isn't to bring attention to the serious issue of skinheads in Nevada, a problem I have personally dealt with since I was a kid, but to paint his political enemies with the racist brush.

If you had managed to make it just a teensy bit further into your own comments (I'm not counting the quotes as belonging to you here) before bashing conservatives, I might be more inclined to see this as at least a semi altruistic post. But you didn't even make it one sentence before jumping into political rhetoric, so it's kind of hard to believe you care about this story beyond its value to your own politics.

That being said, it's an awful, awful story. I tend to view that site as having a pretty substantial lean on its reporting, but if that story is even half true then it's a travesty.

I wish you had actually addressed this issue in this manner rather than try to make it a "all white conservatives are racist" thread. I happen to agree with you on this issue, I just don't like the way you present it. At the end of the day it simply looks like a lazy attempt at a political talking point.

I made a mistake.

I did not try to post it as "all white conservative are racist"..thing, it was more of a "it's a conservative state, so nothing will be done because they cannot gain anything from it"..monetary, public support or anything like that.

Although I do believe the majority of conservatives are racist...I never meant for my post to say "ALL" are.

It's true, but in the UK it has a different origin and that annoys many who followed Ska and danced, loved and laughed with immigrants from the Caribbean.

Sadly it became a name and uniform for hateful idiots and gave the open minded a very bad name indeed.



It's very understandable that alldaylong would wish to outline the distinction and try to take the name back
