Pretty cool knowing nature might help with our invasion of privacy when drone's become more prevalent in our skies. This had me chuckling. What do you think? Lot's of hawks in my neck of the woods here.

An irate hawk reclaimed its patch of sky from an antagonistic drone this week in Cambridge, Massachusetts, knocking the buzzing recording device out of the sky as easily as its normal prey.

Pretty good video too. For those that can't see it's a hawk taking down a quadcopter in the air by nailing POV style feet first.

Original story here.

I bet that "Air Combat With Mother Nature" wasn't on the list of things that this drone pilot thought could go wrong haha. I used to fly RC airplanes quite a bit and never had any birds try to come take a swipe at any of my planes. I wonder how much this actually happens with drones like this one?

I enjoy the symbolism at work.

In representation to humanity, the hawk is called messenger, protector and visionary. Keen vision is one of its greatest gifts. Hawks see things others miss.

Excellent air to air kill, and with gun camera footage.

Falconry seems like a more interesting hobby now.
