Dragonball.

But American-wise I freaking loved (and still do) all the old HB action toons like Thundarr, the Herculoids, Space ghost, all those shows were fully legit.

Ah, 2 stupid dogs, now that was comedy gold right there.

good cal!l my favorite by a mile. I was hooked on these guys before my teenage years, never quite got into the tintin books.
Asterix vs tintin was a bit like the blur vs oasis best band hype, not to many of my friends liked both books. Twelve tasks of asterix was probably my favorite off the top of my head and i also liked asterix in britain being a brit and all that. Good times!

Also special mention must go to danger mouse....qaulity

I liked Bullwinkle, but a lot of that humor wasn't geared towards kids. I also liked the Mr. Peabody and Sherman segments.

i think a lot of the humor in the post 90's cartoons is not geared towards kid...more towards the parents.

look at sponge bob and where he lives.

he lives under bikini atoll in the marshall islands.....friggin nuclear test sites.
hes a mutation

en.wikipedia.org...

en.wikipedia.org...

Much of the series' events take place in Bikini Bottom, an underwater city located in the Pacific Ocean beneath the real life tropical isle of Bikini Atoll

I loved watching the old shows like animaniacs and Spiderman. I did love watching the animated batman as well and wanting to be Catwoman. By far my favorite was the 90s XMen cartoon. Never have you seen a little girl/toastcrumb want to be Wolverine.

Never missed Battle of the planets...everyday after school.

Great thread topic OP.
Literally my saturday morning as a kid revolved around cartoons. I had a system of what came on what channel, at what time and that even corresponded with what sugary food i ate with that show. It was a " ME" party every weekend.
Obviously Looney tunes, Bugs Bunny ranks right up there, and I still watch it with my kids. If I had to dig into the archives of my brain to find those that I never missed :

NEVER EVER MISSED THIS ONE!
