The deadly Ebola virus could spread across the world infecting people from the U.S. to China within three weeks, scientists have warned.
According to the report published by Boston's Northeastern University, Britain is the sixth most likely country to have an Ebola outbreak resulting from a sick passenger on a flight to the country. It is the second most 'at-risk' country in Europe, with France being given a 75% chance of an outbreak, and the second most 'at-risk' country in the world.

Ebola Could UK and France Within 3 Weeks

This doesn't appear to be 'breaking news' anywhere.

Imagine the UK with ebola. You can't get a doctors' appointment for love nor money now never mind when everyone is riled up and in a panic over something no one can 'fix' for you anyway.

I was reading somewhere about the amount of students coming from Africa to the UK to colleges and uni and the possible risk of spreading the illness.............but it's as if everyone who could do something about preventing it doesn't care anyway.

So they are going to start getting "possible" Ebola stories every other day?
America has been dealing with it for how long now and we only have 1 confirmed case that may have caused one death? I say may have cause I still haven't seen that confirmed anywhere

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control owns a patent on a particular strain of Ebola known as "EboBun." It's patent No. CA2741523A1 and it was awarded in 2010.
Patent applicants are clearly described on the patent as including:

The Government Of The United States Of America As Represented By The Secretary, Department Of Health & Human Services, Center For Disease Control.

From the patent description on the EboBun virus, we know that the U.S. government:

1) Extracts Ebola viruses from patients.

2) Claims to have "invented" that virus.

3) Files for monopoly patent protection on the virus.

That's odd...couldn't it hit right now? What's to prevent it?

3 weeks equals 21 days.

So that means the virus was "released" today.

The Spanish health minister has confirmed that a nurse who treated a victim of Ebola in Madrid has tested positive for the disease. The nurse is said to be the first person in the current outbreak known to have contracted Ebola outside Africa.

Health Minister Ana Mato said the woman was part of the team that treated Spanish priest Manuel Garcia Viejo, who died of the virus on 25 September.

Maybe having a case, sure. Causing some pandemic is doubtful, unless a considerable amount of infected are allowed in.

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

Headline - Ebola Could Hit UK and France Within 3 Weeks

Okay ... here are two more headlines they could have gone with ...
Headline - Ebola could already be here!
Headline - Ebola may never arrive in the UK or France!

I don't know why they picked three weeks.
Seems arbitrary to me.
They couldn't possibly know that.

I believe they picked the statement due to a survey that was done mainly taking its information from travel routes and flights...

The conclusion was 75% chance Ebola hit France by end of OCT
and 50% chance hit UK by end of OCT

50% .. cannot get more 'Could' if you tried

News article

I saw the story originally late Last night but its only being reported on MSM today , last night they said it was soley based on flights , and had all fancy arrows and diagrams to prove their point.

It *just* did break out in Spain.

In a country which only has ONE hospital barely suitable to handle such a patient.

In a country where people thought it makes sense to "repatriate" a 80 year old priest dying from Ebola.

Instead of effing shut down all flights from West Africa, they are BRINGING IN patients...

Professors at the University of Illinois in Chicago assert that the Ebola virus has the potential to be transmitted via “infectious aerosol particles both near and at a distance from infected patients,” suggesting that the current understanding of Ebola only being communicable via direct contact is inaccurate.

As we all know Ebola is in Texas right now.

I live in Seattle and on the noon news today they said that a major medical center in Seattle (Harborview) is prepared to accept Ebola patients. We have no cases in Washington State as of right now...but (Harborview) is willing to take patients who have it...a big humanitarian gesture...(Harborview) is willing to take any U.S. citizens no matter where they are from.

So...I guess the city I live in is prepared...but I do have mixed feelings about it.

I am hoping that the UK and France are prepared too.

Isn't that strange. Doesn't that feal strange? Europe needs to prepare and it doesn't appear they are doing anything.
I don't see any nurses in my carecentre preparing at all.
Don't hear anybody about it.
I guess it is supposedly not to scare us.
It is being decided that way...you know...by the powers that be.
They don't bring good news either.
Just only a little bad news. And far to less information.
It's like that from my pov.
We are being manipulated!

Her name was Lola, she had ebola ...

I think we should prepare and drink coca cola

Because the incubation period for Ebola is 2-21 days (3 weeks).
