I read that a few days ago too. Isn't gout just a form of arthritis, caused from eating too much protein? It used to be called "the rich man's disease", assuming a great deal of steak was eaten, back when not many people could afford it.

How odd such a big to do over a case of gout. I know it hurts.... Arthritis hurts....but surely there is more to his medical issues than this! And surgery on his ankle? Perhaps an arthritic spur? He seems mighty young for those type problems.

Yes, his sister is very pretty. Hope she has a kind and compassionate heart to go with it.

Whether him or his sister doesn't matter. They are just faces for public consumption. The real leaders of that country remain unseen, imo.

He's not really ill. He's in hiding. He has been reading about the new Seth Rogan James Franco movie that revolves around a plot to assassinate him and, fearing humiliation from the movie, he is in hiding until the first grosses roll in. If the movie's a hit, he'll be back in the forefront, touting his bankable leading role potential.

There have been rumors going back of an assassination attempt. Remember the headlines where there was some type of engagement between military units in the capital.

That resulted in Un doing more purges, upsetting the military even more.


The North is secretive, so much that they rarely comment on their leaders health. Do we think North Korea would announce an assassination attempt? They would more likely claim its a medical issue and go on from there.

A month or so back we had reports of North Korea moving tank units to the border with China. We also had Un's bean counter defect to Russia, disclosing Un's finances and where the money is hidden at.

I dont think cheese is the problem and I will be surprised if Un makes it to the end of the year.

I think he eats his security detail.
No faces seem common in the shots you see of him with other people.

North Korea isn't communist, they're Juche... which is apparently something their idiotic jackass leader pulled from some end of imaginary land to explain a system in which everyone gives everything to him and then recieves enough back to teeter on the edge of starvation. Comparing it to communism is somewhat accurate, as both systems are very much like a steaming pile of dog crap in the yard, but technically it isn't communism... which is great because it means yeahright was right and North Korea is a 3rd world country with a 3rd rate leader.

Pointing at China, NK, Soviet Union, etc is ingenious but wrong. Not examples of REAL Communism or Socialism. They are decent paradigms of the political spectrum that can't function because of human nature. Greed and laziness. Capitalism isn't doing so well these days for the average Joe lately either.
