In the spirit of the approaching Halloween, a friend and I are going through our music looking for spooky stuff.
I was quite surprised to find both of these on the Tube. "Silent House" (by Siglo XX) has got to be 25 years old or more.

Same Kid Congo from The Gun Club I think. S + F, very underrated musicians were involved with that band.

So you can't go wrong with Type O Negative at Halloween...

An early Type O song....

Something from someone newer...

Finally you can't go wrong with playing a DanzigSamhainMisfits song at Halloween..and Oh look..I have a few..

Halloween I and II from The Misifts (original era with some great photos)

Novembers Fire by Samhain (also with some great photos and plenty of Eerie Von!)

For some reason that reminds me of Ministry's Everyday Is Halloween.

Yep...that's Kid.
I saw the Gun Club in L.A. in the 80s. A buddy of mine lived in El Monte briefly, and never knew Jeff Pierce lived near him! I think Jeff was an incredible guitar player. As you said, underrated for sure. Terry Graham, great drummer.
Rob Ritter died a few years before Jeff. God, what a shame!

JLP was a powerful singer. I was born in the late 80s so I never saw them live. But at least I have his book Go Tell The Mountain. It's his poetry, lyrics and stories.

Lucky getting to see them live! That's an awesome story about your friend, it's such a small world

Another eerie song...

Skinny was born in a bathtub, and grew so incredibly thin,
that even the end of an eyedropper sucked him in

Skinny never knew any questions
Skinny never looked at lights...
but Skinny sold something, every single night

Skinny sold a soldier to me.
Skinny sold a wife.
Skinny sold a suction cup, and a knife.
Skinny found a Hello Dolly record in the hall.
He sold it to a truck driver in the fall

Hello, Dolly

You mean a Misfits cover band.. =)
Sorry The Misfits to me are what I grew up with and that is Danzig, Doyle, Jerry Only, Robo/others.
Just to prove I am a total hypocrite , lol , I am going to the Samhain show on Oct 29 and that won't have Eerie Von so you know what...Go whatever version of The Misfits you posted!
