Look, this is nothing new. I was in Iraq in 2006-2007 at the height of the Shia/Sunni sectarian violence. We worked with Iraqi Police who many were suspected to be involved with the violence themselves. Kidnapping, torture then execution was so common we would find bodies dumped in Baghdad daily. And not just bodies that were shot or even decapitated. People were tortured to death, bodies left disfigured to send messages to others. Women and kids were killed along with men, or sometimes there would be kids left alive after watching their parents be tortured to death. The personnel responsible were BOTH Sunnis and Shia. In some of the community, the hate between these two groups is like nothing else in the world. Am I surprised or shocked at the actions of ISIS? Not at all, from my experience that is what that part of the world looks like.

I don’t know much about Islam, but it seems to bring out the violence in some. And all sects are affected. It’s too bad because the real tragedy of this situation is to the peaceful majority of Muslims.

Bro, all I want to know is how ISIS are glorifying their religion from YOUR perspective. When you can show me your perspective then maybe I can show you something different. I mean use some evidence to back up how you think they are glorifying their religion or something and we can go from there.

The problem is: you are not being clear about anything.

Your OP is short and lacking any information or research. What you posted sounds like you are justifying the actions of ISIS.

If that is NOT what you are doing, then you should put an effort in to explain WHAT it is you are trying to say.

So far, it basically looks like you are justifying the fact that ISIS kills innocent people. If that is NOT what you are trying to do here, then you should take the time to try really hard to explain what it is you are trying to say.

Most of us understand that English is not everyone's language, and misunderstandings can happen. That maybe (I hope) what is going on here.

If it helps, try typing in what you mean in your native language, then use a translator program to translate it, then post it. It might still have some problems, but it also might help you express yourself better.

I think this is a result of a combination of tribalism and radical fundamentalism: a very dangerous combination.

take a trip to syria and ask them personally,take a diary,record everything and if you make it back in one piece you can make a new thread on it...and also update wikipedia with your new found knowledge
