news.msn.com...

"Hamas media said the shootings signaled the start of a new crackdown, under the rallying cry of "choking the necks of the collaborators." It was the largest number of suspected informers killed in a single day under Hamas rule.

The Al Majd website, which is close to the Hamas security services, said suspects would now be dealt with "in the field" rather than in the courts in order to create deterrence."

Really something, the terrorist group claims it much continue to attack Israel for its citizens freedoms, fires rockets from civilian location, uses human shields
And shoots its citizens

Isn't the NDAA quite similar?

Think about it, No trial, just disappeared because the government says you are an enemy sympathizer. A quick death versus a possible black bag and hours of torture?

Tough choice isn't it?

When I read this article, I must say the NDAA/Patriot act instantly came to my mind. It's the same kind of evil, but one is just dressed up nicer than the other.

It's not a big deal because reporting it would go against the agenda.

Hamas abusing Palestinians, publicly executing without court?

Hamas firing thousands of missiles on Israel with little damage but provoking a harsh response from Israel?

Hamas being excuse for whatever Israel plans to do?

sounds like Mossad DID create Hamas after all!

It was reported. The tragedy is that the Palestinians are in the middle of it all - on the one hand you have Israeli heavy-handedness and on the other you have Hamas perpetuating the conflict and conducting extrajudicial murders.

Those who think Hamas are nice people need to consider this type of act, designed to keep the Palestinians down and convenient canon fodder in their violent little world.

It's only news when it supports the agenda of the media. The media in general is anti-Israel (without being anti-Semitic of course.) They don't ignore it, they just don't play it up like they do stories that fit the narrative. This is how we detect bias. Noting how stories are framed. Noting preponderance of views on the stories as delivered by the talking heads.

Why isn't it a big deal?

Why do many black people get upset when one white cop shoots an aggressive, thieving thug, yet yawn when 25 black kids get shot over a weekend in Chicago by other black kids?

Remember the line in "Animal House?"

"Hey, he can't do that to our pledges! Only WE can do that to our pledges!"

Reporting that blacks are killing blacks at a horrendous rate doesn't fit the media agenda that blacks should fear whites because of white racism. In the same way, it's not a "big deal" that Hamas executes 18 Palestinians WITHOUT a trial or any proof presented whatsoever, because to make a "big deal" out of it might wake up more Palestinians and their sympathizers as to what scum hamas is. Can't have that, just like we can't admit that blacks have FAR MORE to fear from other blacks, than they do white people. In the same way, we can't have Palestinians fearing Hamas more than they fear Israel (who gives warnings before buildings are leveled).

It's media driven, and these things don't fit their long held views, such as Israel and hamas being on equal "moral" footing. But hey, I bet Israel would line up 18 of their citizens without trial and blow their brains out for collaborating with Palestinians, right? Right?

Because sadly the majority of people can't make decisions for themselves without peer pressure and media influence. Tolerance is a two-way street and despite the known racism of many police officers (many, not all) it highlights a growing problem where people cannot and will not take responsibility for their own and refuse to look down the other side of the street. The cops won't and most certainly not the protesters/looters.

The people who were killed were spying for the Israeli's who are bombing women and children. What do other countries do with traitors?

Benyamin Nitwityahoo doesn't want anyone to know that he's the leader of Hamas. DUH!!

Funny how Hamas and ISIS do Israels work.

The narrative is that Hamas is a bona-fide government.

Real governments don't carry out executions of traitors in the street, while wearing masks. So even when you post news items like this, the supporters of Hamas cannot remember it 5 minutes from now. It just doesn't register in their data banks. It doesn't fit in with their calculations--- it's like the score to a football match for a team they don't follow.

Of course the "executive action" looks EXACTLY like the work of a drug cartel in Juarez or Cali.

Because that's what it is, a Mafia purge of it's own ranks. when you've "gone to the mattresses," and the war is almost over, that's when you 'pay back' the people in your own outfit that you know are traitors. That's when you have Pauli whacked for setting up Sonny Corleone.

Leave the gun. Take the cannoli.

At least it means we are reaching the end of hostilities. This war is almost over, if they are beginning the internal house-cleaning.

Maybe because 2000 Palestinians have been exterminated by Israel. 18 traitors dealt with under marshal law doesn't really rate much of a mention compared to that.

And not only that, the USA has executed 27 people this year alone...glass houses and throwing stones springs to mind.

However, what if these people are even only one of them are innocent of the charges leveled against them??? No trial, no chance to defend themselves? People here call Israel the terrorists but at least Israel would give their own people a fair trial. Hell they even gave Eichmann a fair trial!

Israel is accused of being dis-proportional/heavy handed in their response to Hamas, I just don't understand that? As much as I hate to see innocent people killed, was has never been about equal force!

I just wish they could sit down and find a peaceful solution, but their is no financial profit in that for either side, is there?

Agreed, war is not about equal force. Then why doesn't Israel declare war and exterminate the whole Palestinian population or the Gaza Strip? Why carry on a war but not? Is it because they fear international backlash against such hypocrisy? By not declaring war Israel can carry on this underground war and continue to use the pathetically weak Palestinian rocket responses as an excuse to exterminate Palestinians, fighters, women, children, elderly, infirm alike.

How many rockets would your country accept before retaliating against those that were launching rockets at your country?

I cannot even understand your justification for asking why Israel doesn't exterminate the Palestinian population? You seem to think that is what Israel wants, it is not! Israel just wants to live in peace, they gave back the Sinai to Egypt, gave back the Gaza Strip and most of the West Bank to the Palestinians in return for peace. The Egyptians and West Bank Community have accepted the peace but Hamas does not!

Hamas is just like a little child calling for attention, trying to see how much they can get away with! They don't care about their people, the more deaths the more they can use their bodies to get attention, that is why they put them in harms way!

If only they stopped the rockets they might just enjoy the same level of development that we have seen in the West Bank in the past 10 years or so! But then Hamas leaders might have to do some real work and use some of those Billions they are getting from Qatar and others rather than padding their own bank accounts???

Exactly, can you imagine how many pages this thread would run too, if Israel had murdered 18 people without trial for co-operating with Hamas???
