I have lived here on the West coast for 20 years and the tide pools full of creatures were always the same, now the tide pools have nothing living even the plants are gone mostly. We did see in hours of looking only a small snail in a shell, normally the starfish are everywhere and the sea anemones.

We have to understand that the plankton and plants feed the larger animals which then are fed on by larger animals up the food chain, how will that turn out.

Thanks CharLee for confirming the survey findings of Dana, the Nuclear Proctologist.

Never have I felt so sickened to be proved right.

Your closing remark about the disruption of the food chain, "how will that turn out" truly is THE question.

How were you proven right? Some one said they didn't see any animals another said there are. Sounds far from a consensus of there not being any animals. You are very quike to assume things. Can any one provide any actual data from a credable source that the pasific coast is basically devoid of life?

Those salmon are migratory.

There's also other pollutions that could be the cause, perhaps even a cocktail of pollutants.

It definitely sounds like a local phenomena.

Canadian environmental regulations are weaker than U.S.'s, as well.

Worth watching, and if it grows, then my alarms will go off. Until then, I for one, am getting tired of the daily diet of life ending disasters, economic disasters, Ebola ad nauseam. Too much crying wolf.

I'm just curious, how many and what types of isotopes did they find in the copses of the dead animals? What were the background radiation levels like? they said the covered 200 clicks of coast line and saw only 4 species of animal. were are ALL the bodies and skeletons and detritus that should have shown up at the low tide marks? Dead whales, seals, dolphins, fish, things like that? radiation DOES NOT dissolved bone, so were are all the corpses? or is it only sea life that is ATTACHED to the sea bed?

I believe a few years ago, in Oregon I think, they found a petrified forrest off shore that no body knew was there before. Apparently a viscious storm surge and tides uncovered them when the sand was scoured away. MAybe there was a freak tide or tidal wave or something else that has been scourging this coastline.

Or maybe it radiation after all, and if it's bad as a these Nuclear Guessologists say, it's all over for that region. Dead Zone. Why? they specifically said they only saw 4 life forms, none of them being human. Case closed. It's a dead zone.

To bad, The Canadian countryside and seaside up there? Beautiful. The people? Meh! Glad I live in Colorado. I figure I have time to down a 6 pack and smoke a few bowls when Yellowstone detonates! Yellowstone, beautiful countryside and lakes up there, the people? Meh !

Good thing about ecologists and nuclear guessologists. They're goal is to restore the planet to the way it was BEFORE mankind screwed it up. End game? Earth is BETTER without angry monkey, so angry monkey needs to go! I concur ! "Life After People" is one of my favorite shows. When the humans finally kill themselves off, then thre rest of the "sentient" life, NOT
on the planet can spend they're days grazing and waiting for that GRB or Asteroid or Nova to happen, without the whine of Lady GA-GA in they're poor little mammal ears.

The nuclear guessologists (hope they're not the "Mckenzie Brothers"
have already SCIENTIFICALLY proven that ALL HUMAN life and 96% of the biomass of the inland passage have died. This is the text book definition of extinction. Or did the Canadian Nuclear Protonomists REALLY spend those 600 dollards on boat rentals on Moose Head & Panama Red ? MOre research is required. Think maybe I'll crowd source and get a truck load of Molson, some burritos, and really, REALLY big bag of "Medicinal Majic" and go up there an take a loook myself. I can sleep on my cousins couch. He lives up that way anyway.

This is terrible for the marine life, we've destroyed so much. The post gives me an idea though. We should build a resort right on the coast, just for all of our Bilderberg/IMF/Fed masters, as a sign of our great appreciation for all they've done. The resort will be catered using fresh seafood from the local pacific coast, and daily surfing lessons for all attendees and their gimpy male love-slaves.

Dive off the west coast in BC, sea full of life. Check it out here.

So if a single youtube video (all rambling about the world ending yet showing pictures of various aqua life) somehow proves fukushima killed all the life around the west coast, this one proves they all came back to life?

The FIRST thing you need to learn is how to spell 'Fukushima'.

The second is, there's NO PRECEDENT for the die-offs, beachings, collapsed fisheries, and species extinctions most likely happening because of the hundreds of tons of tritium DAILY thats been spewing, NON STOP for three and a half years into the Pacific Ocean.

You sure?

You need to do some serious homework.

At least now you know the right word to google.

You're welcome.

Actually, you need to. If you have some conviction that you'd like to share with people on here, the least you can do is research the issue and present your sources and how you came to your conclusions.

The argument in this thread is that Fukushima killed off all the life in the Pacific coast. But there's no data, or much of anything for us to even look at, or compare anything to.

There is no argument, no presentation, just two guys talking out their ass on YT. If you have something better to present by all means.

If you simply read "google" for your information though it's no wonder you have problems finding useful information.

Seriously, what a load of crap this Fukushima thing is.

Firstly, why just Canada ?

There's a multitude of places along this so called fallout path that are still teaming with life (including the Japanese coastline within a few miles of the initial fallout zone.

Unless of course this was some master plan by the Japanese to attack Canada, by killing off its food supply..

Honestly, some of you people make me laugh with all the conspiracy doom and gloom.

This disaster will not effect anything much father than the initial zone. Life will eventually return to the immediate are too.

Maybe some of you peeps should check the video Wolves of Chernobyl for an insight on how nature can overcome obstacles like this.

You should check out the videos of the horribly deformed children of Chernobyl, I'm sure you'll find them a 'Laugh Riot'.

They only found 4 species of animals, all other have disappeared.

What a lot of nonsense, I live on the west coast and everything is just fine. Right now the salmon boats are out on the Fraser river hauling in part of what should be a record return, all beautiful healthy fish that have been feeding along the coast and in the Pacific for 4 years. Are the members of this forum all working for enenews now?

My husbands Family owns a seafood restaurant and fish market..yes the salmon are coming into the market and all the other fish...this has nothing to do with that.

The devastation to our oceans is on a global scale. Not that I'm trying to take anything away from the magnitude of Fukushima, but these die-offs are occurring all over the globe and not just in oceans, but riverways, lakes and seas.

So many things happen in the world that we can't keep up with everything. Here is something that popped back in memory that could explain some of this:

Could this be a factor?

P.S. Salmon runs on the west coast are currently running well within the norms by Canadian and U.S. estimates.

These salmon require food. LOL. Apparently, there is no unusual shortage whatsoever.

Therefore, regarding this thread? YAWN...

Something seems up, and there are a lot of mutations and melting of fish, not just starfish, according to my native friend's associates on the west coast, the fishermen are reporting changes.

However, my dad keeps dropping off fish from the coast in our freezer, salmon. Pretty hard not to eat the salmon.

Maybe you dont realise the media and the internet is controlled by the US Government. If they dont want you to know something they hide it, they confuse the issue, they deny, they ruin people to discredit them. how long do you think this story will last? Already you cannot see the video.

Nonsense, I have talked to and am in constant contact with MANY native groups, and ALL of them are reporting that the sea is acting different, very dead in many areas on Vancouver Island, Tofino, pretty much everywhere you look, the seas look totally changed from 2 years ago.

They are all pissed, sad, depressed, and the only thing good right now IS the salmon run, a run that began BEFORE the disaster.

I am 1 Km from the Fraser River, and can tell you that the Salmon are going great guns, but no one here is fooled into thinking something is not right.

$20 bucks for a salmon right now. Just a boot in the car over the bridge to where they're all set up. Fresh out of the drink. I'm thinking salmon tonight for din din. $20, that's pretty cheap I think.

a reply to: ParasuvO Name the an "Indian group" your in contact with. I will use my U.S. native people who may or may not be privy to this and check it out.

The one thing I find strange is no mention of regular pollutants that, to me, is more likely than radiation from Japan.

Plenty of posts stating lower levels of that particular material than other parts of the world, apparently.

That run you say that started "before" the incident still had to feed those four years and are very migratory, not to mention well up the food chain.

Considering how inter-related ocean life is, do you not find it at all strange that the Adam's run is this big with these "dead areas" . Heck, it could even be an over-harvesting issue of a specific crop throwing things out of whack. Perhaps shrimp or something along that line?

I have no idea, really.

I am utterly tired of the fear-mongering in general-not particularly this issue-, per say.

Certainly, a specific dead area due to radiation from Japan flat out doesn't make any sense. The area would be far bigger having travelled that far AND previously exposed regions following the currents would have even worse results by any logic that I can see.

Bottom line there's always "something happening" some where. Maybe it's just our turn.

The first red flag in the video was that the speaker calls himself a "Nuclear Proctologist". What's that, a nuclear anus and rectum specialist????? I couldn't get past the 15 minute mark, it was just so bad......
I visited his website and did some reading and the guy is illiterate at best.
I have no doubt that there is a lot of information about the fallout from the Fukishima disaster than we're not being told about but a video done by two Newfies pretending to be scientists, calling themselves proctologists, does absolutely nothing to further the effort of getting our governments to release what information they have on how radiation is damaging our pacific coastlines.
