It seems the search for the truth has just taken a turn for the worst.

Black Box on the way to Moscow

From the source above.

Pro-Russian separatists claimed to have found the 'black box' - which records vital flight information - of the downed passenger airliner MH17.
According to Russian news agency Interfax, First Deputy Prime Minister Andriy Purgin of the breakaway Donestsk Republic said the box will be transferred to Moscow for examination.
'Of course, we most likely will give them to the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), to Moscow. They are highly qualified experts who will be able to accurately determine the cause of the disaster, even though it is so clear,' he said.

This does everything except inspire confidence. Anybody remember this story;

Russia engineered air crash that killed President Kaczynski

Gaping holes in Russia's Polish air crash

From the second source ;

the Russians altered the CVR

CVR being the Cockpit Voice Recorder.

I am fairly sure this is not the only incidence of tampering. I'll do some more digging.

This has got the hands of the CIA all over it. This morning on the radio they discussed how the weapon used was Russian and how the separatists might have got hold if.

Why would the separatists who are ethnic Russians want to bring down an airliner? Whats in it for them. They are being ethnically cleansed so they they are to busy defending themselves or trying to get across the boarder in Russia.

Whats in it for the US owned thug that running the Ukraine without being elected? Plenty, they can blame Russia for it and use it to beat Europe over the head to blackmail them into increased cooperation and assistance.

Whats in it for CIA? the same thing that in it for the US tug in control.

What do they say?

ask who has the capability?
Who has in interest in it happening and
Who gains from it.

Who's truly neutral though? I mean, if it's sent here or to Europe, the other half of the world (and many on this side) will complain that it was tampered with. If it's sent there, this side (and probably few from the other) will claim the same. I'm not too sure what to believe anymore, but where the box gets sent for an exam probably wouldn't do much to clear up this sticky goo of a mess.

Russia should hand over the Blackboxes to the USA.
They can then join the ones from the jets used on 9/11.... wherever they may be!

Why the hell were they flying a passenger jet over a war zone? What could go wrong?

This one is not quite so much tampering, more delay. Eight or nine years of delay.

Shot down by the Russians.

Well if this is true then to my mind it's an assumption of guilt. Russia should not have grabbed the black boxes so quickly. The plane came down in Ukraine, therefore the black boxes should be handed over immediately to the Ukrainian authorities, who will dispense them to the appropriate international investigators.

If the Russians however have snaffled them, then I can think of no other reason than they need to hide some evidence against them?

The separatists probably would have shot it down because they thought it was a Ukrainian military cargo plane.

The people who shot that missile at MH17 couldn't see what they were shooting at and most likely couldn't identify it with the target acquisition radar that they were using.

This explanation would be completely plausible if they were using a Buk missile/radar system without the optional radar and target acquisition vehicle which can actually identify targets.

The separatists have shot down an Su 25 and an An 26 already.

What makes you claim the FAA has anything to do with flights over Europe by a Malaysian plane?

Don't let intelligence get in your way.

Something bad has happened in the world. It is obvious it was a plot by the US and manufactured by the CIA.

Anyone with two brain cells to rub together knew right away this was a case of failure to properly identify a target. A terrible mistake made in a warzone.

90% of the blame should go to the triggermen and 10% should go to the company that flew over a warzone to save money on fuel.

You focus on the trigger men and airline company yet forget those who supplied the weapon?

Yeah, and what about those who let the system get into thier hands - even if the Ukrainians left this behind they should have disabled and it should have been a high priority target it would likely easily be disabled by a targeted strike.

And if the Ukrainians didn't leave it then whoever got it to the separatists are surely in part are responsible?

MH17 was one of a number of flights over east Ukraine, in fact 3 other flights were in that area at the time - should all of the airlines that flew over the east of Ukraine be fined for endangering the life of thier passengers? It seems harsh to single out Malaysia Airlines as this incident happened by complete chance and nobody knew previously that this was even possible.

The FAA don't have jurisdiction over international flights, ALL flights to East Asia fly the same route
