Turkey is reportedly very interested in buying the motors they used for their tanks. There was talk of them buying at least a dozen to start, and if they work out well, then having Japan supply tank motors going forward.

Tank motor is a good start..

Creating a Jet Engine wont be as easy ..

They already make their own jet engines and have for many years.

Creating a jet engine is different from creating one for a 5th generation fighter. Only 3-4 countries can create modern jet engines- US, Russia, France, UK followed by Japan, China and India.

No, the engine itself is absolutely no different. It's the exhaust, and other parts that are in the airframe that are different.
