Deny complacency.
How about an area for the discussion of scandals.
Maybe one on UN, or maybe just all international organizations and groups.
Having a separate area for people to vent about Iraq would probably not be a bad idea; it is hard to talk about anything in the political forums
without someone bringing the war up.

No matter what your political persuasion, almost everyone agrees that involvement is a good thing (especially if you're involved in my
campaign).
For that reason, my vote for a theme of this new thread would be: defy apathy.

As someone said before, less point wanting posts and more ideas people.
As far the 12-20 posts I think it would be best if those were posted by AboveTopSecret member as an intro of the election and the thougths of ATS
members begining from 9-11 till the Election deal.
I said ATS member because that way we all can contribute and not fight each other.

Since I look at politics as a vehicle for governance, I'd like to see threads that look at the ideas of governance, i.e., the role of
government in economics personal activities, etc. For me, intersting fora would include:
Politics and Economics;
Local Politics and Grass-Roots Organization;
The Politics of Globalization;
Politics and Health;
Politics and Labor; and
Politics outside of the United States.
Of course, these would be in addition to the same old "left-versus-right" paradigm (which I consider pointless, but it's obviously a best seller);
and political conspiracy, collusion, and overall chicanery in general.

A good topic forum would be
One all about the benefits of natural remedies, vitamins, herbs
Another for medical breakthroughs........
Designing the new board?? I don't have a clue...

Well obviously there'll have to be a forum for U.S. politics, and one for other countries' politics. I would also add a historical forum -
revisiting big historical moments in politics, and even conspiracies in politics, would be great.
EDIT - meant to say "conspiracies in history", not "conspiracies in politics".

Perhaps a section discussing pros and cons of theorized, rare, fictional, and hybrid systems..
example threads:
Technocracy->representative-democractic system reg'd by scientists and engineers
Literal Democracy->Non-representative Democracy reg'd by all citizens.
Cyber Democracy->simular to LD above, except voting is done by a special nation oriented network(doable now) or neurological interface (sometime in
the future..)
Utopia->All ideals are somehow met without conflict of another. Impossible I know
Electronic Autocracy -> system reg'd by an Artifical Intelligence. could be good or bad..
Another entry for PTS motto:
Deny Nothing!

What about Deny Ideology?
Definition: an orientation that characterizes the thinking of a group or nation.
Question your belief system as well as others.
As far as forums:
Several countries needs their own
UN Forum
Health
Education
Foreign policy
My 2 cents

My proposal for PTS slogan would be:
Deny "truth".
It represents the actual state of politics world wide. Everywhere truth is placed in the backyard, while ideas how to get more money come into your
own pocket goes forward.
Some kind of "truth" is always served to the nation but the real truth is known by the selceted ones only. We here try to unveil this truth, and the
reasons for hiding it.
If it can be more than two words, then: Deny "truth", learn truth.
