State Department buying massive cache of explosives, journalists claim

I saw this on my RT news feed, I know a lot of members here are concerned with FEMA, DHS so some might find this interesting.

The Department of State is shopping around for hundreds of pounds of plastic explosives and detonator devices, a new report reveals, raising concerns regarding an American agency that usually deals with foreign policy, not dynamite procurement.

So now this if from the WND article :

The procurement documents likewise list the explosives’ shipping destination, or “place of performance,” as Sterling, Va., which is home to the Diplomatic Pouch and Mail Unit, or DPM/U, which is tasked with sending secure pouches and crates to U.S. embassies and consulates worldwide.

So lets look at the order:

State specifically is purchasing – and sending to Sterling, Virginia – 450 pounds of C4 M112 explosives, nearly 2,600 containers of liquid explosives, 188 feet of “linear-shaped charges” and more than 8,000 blasting caps via Solicitation No. FY14-GC-273.

A separate procurement, Solicitation No. FY14-GC-281, calls for 225 pounds of C4 plastic explosives, five pounds of C2 “sheet explosives” and 144 bottles of high-energy liquid explosives. Thousands of additional feet of detonating cord – plus 18,000 feet of military-grade safety fuses and hundreds of blasting caps and fuse igniters – are likewise part of this order.

A third procurement, Solicitation No. FY14-GC-282, seeks another combination of C4 block, sheet and liquid explosives with accompanying caps, igniters and related blasting equipment.

Finally, an array of “explosive entry systems,” “blasting tubes” and inert C4 and dynamite are sought under Solicitation No. FY14-GC-272.

This is only a small portion of the article, it's a well written article, I really suggest reading it.

So I have been thinking about this, remember a few months back with the Snowden affair that all these US embassies got evacuated?
They said they had intel of a terror attack of an unseen scale.

What if they do a Benghazi on this one? Stage a false flag on their own embassies all in the name of terrorism. This time It could be anyone, Iran perhaps? The war on terrorism is getting a bit dull, the people need to be reminded to the fear they had from 9/11.

I'm not an American so there is much I don't know, so maybe you guys can give a logical explanation.
All in all, I thought this might interest some of you guys.

could be for rigging diplomatic safes etc to ensure that if the S hit the F there will be nothing left that anyone could obtain and use?

i suppose working out how many diplomatic places the US has and divide it by the quantity to see if it looks a silly amount

It could be for anything, but the sheet explosives sound a bit suspicious as well as the destination. I thought you couldn't send explosives by diplomatic means, it's illegal, a shipment could end up on a passenger plane. I have to wonder why they would want C4 however, rather than Semtex. C4 is fairly easy to detect, where Semtex is not as easy. My only explanation would be that they would "want" to detect the materials if this were a false flag run, which would probably be set for July 1 (my guess) at US embassies in "hot spot" countries. However with those kinds of quantities, the US could hit every one of their own embassies all over the world to make every and any country a valid target.

It's a stretch, but it is an interesting scenario.

I also find the order odd, this seems to be very specific, every order is basically the same, as in for a sole purpose.

According to the unclassified and publicly available U.S. Department of State Foreign Affairs Manual Volume 14, once USPS delivers an item to this facility, that item technically is not considered mail and no longer falls under postal regulations and restrictions.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

The western military industrial complex has made some serious movements globally over the past decade. Iraq sluggishly and brutishly inched its way forward yet still exploding booms heard daily. Of course the destabilization of Iraq could be argued as intentional and a success. Of course we shouldn't forget about Afghanistan, you know...."the good war", and to this day they still lack stability and security, which of course could be argued as intentional. Lybia, well #, that was a smashing success by all measures of brutal empires. Egypt seems to be enjoying billions in aid so I suppose things went pretty ok there also.

Than something happened in Syria that appeared to have all but shattered the momentum of the ever-expanding influence of this industrial complex. It's this moment in fact that has me pondering the end time prophecy because prior to this event in time, I really didn't recognize the resolve of the nation of Syria. I was equally surprised as Russia's ability to thwart our advances in Syria and expose the west for the false flag chemical attack.

Now we have this proxy war in Ukraine where the west and east have turned Ukrainian on Ukrainian in the hopes of destabilizing the other. Either isolating Russia therefore freeing up the wests advance in the ME or Russia winning and stopping the wests forward momentum in the ME.

Crazy or no, I kind of hope Damascus doesn't fall because I'd really hate to see the advent of the apocalypse, but if I didn't know any better, I'd say we are heading there at breakneck speed.

Perhaps to be used in the destruction of mines, IEDs, and other nasty things.

We know they're reckless, but to attempt to use these explosives, this MASSIVE amount of explosives now the cat is out of the bag and there's a direct and clear paper trail AND journo's are sniffing their backsides...they'd have to be more than reckless, they'd have to be stark raving mad or desperate.

Or completely indifferent to who knows what anymore.

Provocation?

A massive series of attacks to invite retaliation to be able to then act the victim?

Maybe it's like the 3000 or 4000 tanks, or the Billions of Hollow point rounds and rifles they're stockpiling...just for weather agency staff and school crossing guards to go and do 'target practice'...

However there are many legitimate uses for explosives - not the least of which is training people who have to deal with explosives!!

the amount quoted is not very much at all - as a trainee military engineer I used 5 lb of plastic just in my basic training - and that was NOT as a specialist explosives or demolition trade!

I imagine police explosives squads and other LEO and regulatory agencies who routinely deal with explosives and with people who use them go through thousand of lbs in training programmes every year - I'd be more worried if the didn't!

If the procurement is standard stuff, then we ought to be able to find the previous orders that this diplomatic department has made in the past as a standard procedure.
Right?

dunno - are such records available on the 'net?

the state Dept does a lot of explosives clearing in other countries tho - eg Congo 2005, Lebanon 2010, Africa (general) since 1994.

the Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement (WRA) seems to do plenty of work for which all this stuff would be normal supplies - except the quantities in het order are far too small to be of much practical use, which makes me think they are for training or demonstration purposes.

But, anyway --- These people are getting soooo sloppy in their nefarious doings, that it seems HELL is certainly on it's way -

They can't keep the money-printing depression secret for much longer.

Maybe there's something more sinister on the way that none of these "elitist" can control? Something by mother nature.
