Do Rolls Royce know more about flight MA370 than they letting on?

The plane had no mechanical problems with the engines, but problems of Quantum Mechanics.....

who said its an option? Its part of the core services of the program. I would love to see where the gps is a separate option from the total care program standard features.

Rolls Royce. In one of their statements they said there is no location data unless it's hooked to the aircraft GPS, which is an option.

Please let us know when you do...this point has been the source of alot of confusion...that gps bit...I will be waiting, I really want to find that statement...

It would not matter if they had millions of data points recording if that data cannot be sent to the ground. If someone can prove the reporting system was actually working it would be meaningful to the search and what the world is being told.

The GPS monitoring is a customer option from GE, RR and P&W, also from Boeing Center as a system monitoring service.

If ACARS is unpowered, or data transfer priority is set to nil the only thing they're left with is handshake from the satcom antenna (just what happend here)

GPS monitoring or not doesn't matter much.
