Something to keep in mind when it comes to Iran:

German U212A subs can breach the defense around US carriers undetected and sink them, as was shown twice in joint exercises.

We sold several of those type to Israel. Just saying (this is ATS after all...)

Iranians are just trying to tell the world that no one can mess up with them, at least not until the invaders are willing to pay a hefty price.wouldn't the US be doing the same if Iranian carriers were happily navigating the gulf of Mexico while continuing giving left and right ultimatoms to the Americans?! ?!
