Your comment made me think of this article I read today. If only we could *sometimes* take matters into our own hands!!

news.msn.com...

"Two men and two women beat a man and left him to be attacked by wolves in the northern Wisconsin woods after accusing him of inappropriately touching a child, prosecutors said Wednesday."

I bet Bobo would think that was pretty Squatchy...

Such was the intended outcome of the use of the stocks in days of yore.

Allowing the citizenry unfettered access to criminals in the dark of night ... talk about deterrent.

I'm fairly confident my kids are safe as we are not from their upper crust world. However, this is a sad, sick, twisted individual who should be tried like the average person. But this is probably well beyond criminal and into the territory of the mentally ill. Poor kids.

It's not rape if the rapist is seriously rich, just as it's not murder if the murderer can afford the best, most twisted and conniving of lawyers.

It's been this way forever. The "Justice" system is just about keeping the plebes in their places. It isn't about justice, never has been.

A not so old saying in the bike world goes "There's no justice, just us." That about sums it up for me.

The entire legal system needs to change.

An overhaul of the existing one, won't be enough. If we try to tweak our legal systems as they are, it would be like spraying a turd with air freshener..still offensive.

Justice is supposedly blind, unfortunately for those with wealth it's blind, deaf and dumb..for the skint, it's short-sighted and that's about it.

Lawyers should all be allocated by the state. It's the state who are accusing us of a crime, it's the state that demands punishment or rehabilitation for an accused crime, it's the state who uses our money to prosecute that crime in court and it certainly ought to be the state that provides access to the trained people who can argue our case and defend our rights against our accusers in court.

The lawyers should all be state sponsored. All lawyers should be required to continually train and pass performance based criteria testing, they should earn the same standardised rate of pay for their ability. All lawyers should be divided into groups according to their specialities, experience and interest. i.e. Corporate fraud, Financial crimes. Sexual crimes, political crimes / treason, Violent crimes, Traffic offences, petty theft, and on and on and on.

When the state decides they wish to accuse you and take you to court, a random generator will pick a lawyer for you from a pool in that particular group concerned with the crimes the state is accusing you of, a kind of lawyer lottery that leaves the choice of lawyer to fate and is in the lap of the gods as it were..that way, wealth or public status or connections to power brokers will not and cannot influence who gets or just as importantly, doesn't get their fair share of justice.

A new system is needed to make sure equality and equal access to a fair and balanced justice system for all irrespective of bank balance or percieved public position...a revamp won't do.

These are the types that are supposedly recruited to be monarch programmers. Someone who does such evil to his own children is deemed sufficiently lacking in conscience and are completely bereft of compassion.

It would be better that a millstone be tied about his neck and he be drowned in the depths of the sea.
Matthew 18:6

That this creature lives speaks ill of our societal priorities. That he enjoys his freedom is utter madness.

Although its a interesting proposal, it removes the right to have who you choose represent you. Also, that's putting a lot of faith in the state.
A lot of voters will demand a good lawyer to be fired from the state if he/she wins most cases that pop culture said should not be won.
Opens for corruption.

Its a no win situation really...I do kinda like my voucher idea though, but chances are, lawyers would "federalize" their rates and charge triple the normal cost for state vouchers.

It's not brave. I sincerely doubt the sheriff in question even remembers the incident. It's just a sad testament that sometimes blind justice is deliberately blind to the injustice itself because she peeked and saw the accoutrements. I'm sure that there are similar types of infractions on the other side of the financial spectrum where children are left put in terrible situations because of prejudice or it being too much of a hassle. I think there was a case study about police officers and their treatment of battered wives that found the response to both was inadequate but to the poor wife, even moreso. The officers, depending on the wife's appearance, gave differing amounts of sympathy and treated them much differently.

Though I'm not up on the details of this, similar stories have been told over the years. My conclusion....some people are just "too big to fail". Sound familiar? Yep...like the banking/financial system, our corporate heritage upholds our economy! It also expands to many "great" institutions of research and innovation. Respect, respect, respect! We can't let little things like rape or murder or whatever bring down greatness that helped build our great country! Why, people might start to loose faith with the elite and thus, we would have the whole kit and kaboodle come down like a house of cards! Gotta be careful! Plus, it helps to afford the BEST legal defense, have contributions to judges, politicians, etc.

This just disgusts me to the utmost. I hate reading about rich pricks who get away with rape, murder, embezzlement, and so on and so forth. When will things change?

Capitalism at work for ya.

Despite socialists believing that Business people are generally child rapists and those who get away with rape, this is an appropriate definition of capitalism:

Capitalism is a social system based on the principle of individual rights. Politically, it is the system of laissez-faire (freedom). Legally it is a system of objective laws (rule of law as opposed to rule of man). Economically, when such freedom is applied to the sphere of production its result is the free-market.

Tolerance and apathy are the final virtues of a dying nation. - Aristotle.

We have similar 'cases' in the UK, though not always rich people.

Justice, probably by design, has been dismantled, possibly to cause outrage or possibly to make people give up and feel apthetic.

The civilisation of the West is almost over.

In India, when rapes take place the people take to the streets in massive protests and guess what, the perpetrators when caught are given the death sentence. Did anyone protest over the rapes of these children? Didn't think so.

In the UK, rape is almost a non - crime in the eyes of the judiciary it appears, with little sentences. Even last week, a teacher of a certain faith was given a suspended sentence for molesting an 11 year old girl because his wife doesn't speak English!

The 'game' is almost over for Western civilisation - and though the transistion to what comes next will be terrible, I fear we may see these days as 'the good old days'.

All I can say is that it is not just rich people being 'let off' for horrific crimes. It appears almost by design and it appears most people really just don't care any more.

I tend to believe the psycho's at the top need to do the time, but everyone else needs healing, counseling and abundance therapy and don't believe in our penal system which is hellzone beliefs. Not saying that some don't need to be put somewhere for the safety of the community if its indeed serial stuff, but electronic surveillance and special apartments, bracelets and counseling would work for all of them.

Dupont are major illuminati family and I'm really glad his wife or ex is bravely stepping up to the plate. The wave may be denser and seem to be particle maybe...but its an illusion the way the colliders they build show. Its all wave function, and electrical function.
