Many people think there was only one "Buddha". They think that it is impossible that right now there are thousands of Humans that express the Buddha Nature/Christ Consciousness (whatever you call it) that we ALL are. There is no Buddha as a person. Buddha is what we are.

What is enlightenment?
Enlightenment is the realization that You ARE the Reality that You Previously Thought You Existed IN. So you are at the same time NOTHING because you are nothing SPECIAL. NO OBJECT-> Transcendence.

This can not be understood by the mind. But the mind can open up for the possibility that this is true. And that there is a reason to search for that truth. Because in the end you are never searching for things. You are never searching for a new car, a new partnership, money etc.. You are always searching for the feeling of allowing peace and happiness that you are. Do you really think the car made you happy? No, it was the vanishing of the thought "I need a car" that made you happy.

And right now you are clouding the fact that you can have that unconditional freedom all the time.

Right now our capitalistic society needs you to search for something else than THIS because you are really effective when you are suffering. Because then you are trying to get this freedom by buying stuff , by working 12 hours a day, by being the perfect slave...

Here is a list of a very few of the best teachers and enlightened "Buddhas" earth has right now (also in terms of good youtube VIdeos. If you want to find truth: watch a few of them on youtube and chose who is worth listening to for you.

Mooji (Portugl)
- heartlevel: for people with a strong sense of craving/longing/yearning for freedom. He works more with the heart than the mind

www.youtube.com...

Tony Parsons (England)

-hardcore advaita: always speaks from the perspective of Nonduality (no person involved). More mind oriented. And for people who find it hard to let go of thoughts and identification.

www.youtube.com...

Papji (already died, India)

-The master of masters. He is the reason that many western teachers even exist. Wise and heartful. More for balanced people who are just feeling a deep search but are not top heavy or overly emotional.

U.G Krishnamurti (already died, India)
-the cynical Nihilist. For the vain "control-fetish-minds" with a taste of "romantic spiritualism". That make something "extra ordinary" of spirtuality. The ones that think they are "better" than people who are not spiritual.
www.youtube.com...

Jeff Foster (UK)
-the new Generation. Really fresh and young. For people who need a modern approach.
(ok there are better videos on the topic. You will find them but this is the one that made me LAUGH so much that i really lied on the floor. Like really ROFL.. www.youtube.com...)

Rupert Spira (UK)

-the intellectual and clear mind. For the people who more want to philosophize about awakening.
www.youtube.com...

Karl Renz (Germany)
-the genius . His english in awful and in german its much fun but he is good in destroying your sense of "having to search". He is a genius in loosen you up.
www.youtube.com...

Ramesh Balsekar (india)
-the experienced one. A direct disciple of NISARGADATTA.

www.youtube.com...

Nisargadatta (India, already died)
-his books "IAM" are the best. They helped a lot of people.
-> His message: STay in the "IAM"
www.youtube.com...

If you read the bible and think of this time as revelation then there are supposed to be at least 144 000 chosen on this planet now. Not all of them are supposed to make a big splash.

Namaste.

There are MANY thousands of Buddhas living today and most of them will not utter a single word about it and very few of them spend energy teaching. You will most likely never notice them because they appear very ordinary. Most of the gurus we see flaunting their spiritual achievements, are not Buddhas at all, but students or devotees who are still trying to find enlightenment themselves.

Are you sure they have found it? Is simply claiming we have found truth what passes off as truth and freedom nowadays?

You talk about the ones sealed on their foreheads, there are those sealed on their hand also, and this not with the mark of the beast.

At some point we need to stop glorifying this mythical enlightenment state and understand that it is imply self development/self realization. Enlightenment denotes a connection to the spiritual aspect of life, which many people are turned off by (at first), however when we can communicate that enlightenment is nothing more than the acquisition of the necessary skills and habits to live a free, happy, and long healthy life, more people will take notice and try the practices for themselves.

Quieting the mind is just that, the quieting of noise, the learning that your thoughts are there, but they are not you. Basically we need to encourage HEALTHY individuality, the kind of individuality where we can each be secure in our own personal faith and values without having to undermine those of others which we do not agree with.
