I am facinated with how El Nino is effecting the global weather. I am one of those who always pays attention to weather.

I have been watching the Weather Channel and learning alot.

I guess, as it's said. If you understand the "whys" you know more what to expect, and it makes things less scary.

I'm not seeing the 200kmph winds they are talking about on the MSM

these readings were taken off the earthwind-nullschool web program in the last hour, at surface level



No worse than an average windy day here in Wellington/Cook Strait, New Zealand
We had 5 days in the last 30 days with winds over 100kmph, which is normal

we didn't evacuate
